Groups of Elohim appear to have taken distinct roles, sometimes even competing in purpose

Since humanity’s beginning, outside and inside forces have influenced our development.

Many creation stories exist worldwide. Some describe the origin of humanity and its conditions, while others explain the beginning of the universe, similar to the Big Bang, but with intelligence (a divine mind) present first.

This post focuses on the conditions needed for the human species to develop, following the Genesis narrative.

Genesis

If we follow the story of Genesis, a book that forms part of the foundations of the major Abrahamic religions, we find the first clue that humanity had help from outside forces. Genesis 1 describes the first 6 of the 7 “days” of creation.

Rudolf Steiner interprets the “days” of creation as long periods, each marked by the activity of different groups of beings, with the Elohim playing a central role. In Genesis, it is important to leave “Elohim” untranslated, as it does not translate well to “God” given its plural form. Paul Wallis suggests “the powerful ones” as a better alternative.

Six long periods of creation

In the beginning of the story the Elohim created new conditions in the atmosphere of the earth.

Genesis 1:1

The text does not describe the creation of the Earth itself, which already existed, but indicates that its conditions were unsuitable for human life. The Genesis story begins after a destructive event, contrary to the popular belief that it starts with the formation of the universe.

On the first day of creation, the Elohim introduced light to the Earth, separated it from darkness, and established the cycle of day and night.

On the subsequent days, the Elohim formed the sky to divide the waters, gathered seas to reveal dry land with vegetation, placed celestial bodies for timekeeping, created sea creatures and birds, and produced land animals.

On the sixth day, the Elohim created humans in their image.

And the Elohim said, Let us make human beings in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26

This is clue that these powerful beings were directly involved in humanity’s creation, and it suggests that if we were ever to meet them, they would likely look much like us:)

Rested on the seventh day? Non-interference

An almighty God would not need rest due to fatigue. Instead, the “rest” in Genesis appears symbolic. It indicates that the Elohim ceased active involvement in creation, stepping back to allow the created world to develop on its own. This marks the start of a period of non-interference.

The First Intervention

The opening verses of Genesis 2 (1–6) conclude the work of the first seven periods and prepare the way for the next stage of intervention.

And in the day that the YHWH Elohim acquired the earth and the atmosphere, the plants were not yet in cultivated fields in the land and herbs were not yet grown under controlled conditions

Starting from verse 4, it suggests that a different ‘God’ (or group of Elohim) had taken control: YHWH

The holy name YHWH wasn’t revealed until ages later to Moses, and this is an event long before Moses. So you know straight away somebody after the time of Moses is retelling an ancient story, and they’ve altered it.

In Genesis 3, YHWH is just the later name that’s been put into that text. The real name of that entity is Enlil.

Paul Wallis

Enlil, with his broter Enki are the main characters in some of the Sumerian cuniform tablets, refered to as Sky Gods or Anunnaki.

The Anunnaki, an extraterrestrial race, infused their genetic material into early hominids such as Homo erectus and Homo habilis between 300,000 to 500,000 years ago. This genetic manipulation led to the creation of Homo sapiens.

Bashar

Zecharia Sitchin, translator of the Sumerian cuneiform tablets, writes that the Anunnaki arrived on Earth about 450,000 years ago to mine gold. When faced with worker rebellion, Enki (the “brother” of Enlil) and Ninhursag genetically engineered humans by mixing Anunnaki DNA with hominins, creating a hybrid labor force to serve them.

Mining of Gold bring us back to Genesis 2:

And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

Genesis 2:12

Earth base

In the Genesis 2 we find a description of what seems to be an earth base:

And the YHWH Elohim established an enclosed garden within Eden and there they put the humans whom they had predeterminded.

Genesis 2:8

Letting my imagination run, I picture this enclosed garden as the first Earth base from which this new group of Elohim oversaw the planet, possibly high in the sky and supported by four massive legs reaching to the ground.

A similar idea appears in the Prose Edda, an important 13th-century collection of Norse myths. In Gylfaginning (Chapter 10), it states:

“There next they (Odin and his brothers) built a fortress in the middle of the world, that is called Asgard. There lived the Gods and their families, and there happened many events and tales, both on the Earth and in the sky.”

This description is striking, it suggests that Asgard, existed both on the ground and high in the sky, aligning with the idea of a base that connected the heavens with the Earth.

If we continue following Genesis 2, it becomes clear that this new group of Elohim did not have the best intentions for humanity. They began making changes that served their own purposes, shaping us into demoralized helpers for their work.

The YHWH Elohim said, ‘It is good that humans are separated; we will make them demoralized helpers.

Adam & Eves

Bashar, a channeled source, describes:

Adam and Eve, in a manner of speaking, did exist. Their story has been simplified into a metaphor. The Anunnaki genetically altered Homo erectus to create Homo sapiens. The male prototype was called “Adama”, and the female version was “EVA”. Over time, these names became Adam and Eve. The genetic engineering process was not instantaneous but took place over decades or even centuries. The primary laboratory was in the Middle East, near Temple Mount. Other labs existed across the planet.

Adam: This is the label given to the first stable prototype model of Homo sapiens. “Adam” comes from the Hebrew “Adama,” meaning “created of the Earth’s soil,” thus “Earthling.” In Sumerian the word is “Adapa,” meaning “model” or “prototype.”

Eve was the first female prototype created from the cloning or gene splicing of the male humanoid prototype called Adam. This pertains to Homo sapiens only.

And in the land the YHWH Elohim preordained all the animals of the land and the flying creatures of the sky to go to the humans to see what to call of them.

Genesis 1:19

Rudolf Steiner explains the following on the evolution of humanity through successive “root races.”

The first sub-race of the Atlanteans is described as having developed a memory that preserved vivid impressions of colors, sounds, and other sensory experiences, something their Lemurian ancestors lacked. This new capacity for memory allowed for the birth of speech, since naming objects requires the ability to recall them.

According to this view, it was in the Atlantean period that language began to take shape, creating a new link between the human soul and the outer world, and fostering bonds between individuals. Though still primitive, these abilities marked a profound shift in human development, one that could parallel the moment in Genesis when Adam is depicted naming the animals, symbolizing humanity’s growing power of thought and connection through language.

Transformation in the garden was not only mental; it was also physical. Ancient texts describe a shift from lighter, less material forms into denser, earth-based bodies, what Genesis calls “formed from the dust.”:

“For now our bodies have strange functions; and all flesh that requires food and drink for its existence cannot be in the garden.
Then Adam said to Eve, ‘Behold, our hope is now lost; and so is our trust to enter the garden. We no longer belong to the inhabitants of the garden; but from now on we are earthy and of the dust, and of the inhabitants of the earth. We shall not return to the garden, until the day in which God has promised to save us, and to bring us again into the garden, as He promised us.’”

Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan

Summary

So far, several points emerge with clarity:

• Elohim’s involvement at the beginning of humanity.
• Different groups of Elohim appear to have taken distinct roles, sometimes even competing in purpose.
• Genesis 2:12, with its reference to the “good” gold of the land, becomes more understandable if these beings had an interest in Earth’s resources.
• The Adam and Eve story can be read as a metaphor for a genetic alteration process, where early humans were reshaped into a new form.
• Altogether, these details strongly suggest that Genesis preserves fragments of a historical narrative rather than a purely religious or moral lesson.

With the lens of historical narrative, we can now examine the events leading up to the great flood of Noah, although this means bridging an immense timespan.

Update 1: Dolores Cannon

After completing this post, I began reading The Search for Hidden Knowledge by Dolores Cannon. She opens the book with a striking account of humanity’s beginnings, drawn from thousands of past life regressions:

The story is told (in Keepers of the Garden) of the original group of aliens who came to Earth to begin life under the direction of the archaic ones, because this was their purpose. For untold millennium they have traveled through the galaxies searching for planets that have reached the point where they could support life. Their job was to begin the life process.

Then the developing species were left on their own because of the prime directive of non-interference. But there were others who came with other agendas. These were the ones who were looking for minerals that their planets needed. These stayed and enslaved the primitive inhabitants so they could do the work for them. This was when the interbreeding occurred.

At that time it came to the attention of the councils what was happening, and they stepped in to banish the intruders so the original experiment would not be spoiled. These were the facts I have been given through many sessions and they have been reported in my other books. The psychic powers were allowed to become diluted until in our present time they are almost nonexistent. But they have never completely disappeared, they have just lain dormant. They are still in our genes and DNA. Now in our present time they are coming forward and being reactivated so they can be used in the New Earth. Many people have noticed that their psychic powers are being awakened.

Update 2: Elohim vs Anunnaki

The wording Elohim in Genesis is not always practical, since it simply means “the powerful ones” or “the gods” and does not specify who these beings were. A more concrete term is Anunnaki, used in Mesopotamian tradition to describe the “offspring of Anu” who came from the heavens to Earth. Both terms point to groups of higher beings, yet in most discussions we use Anunnaki to refer to a later intervention when these beings appear more similar to humans themselves.

In the Nordic myths, the same theme is preserved under another name: the Æsir. These were the gods who established themselves in Asgard, interacted with humankind, and shaped the order of the world.

In Hebrew are Elohiym, in Sumerian are Annuna or Anunnaki, in Greek is Theō, they are the same individuals.

In the Hebrew Bible, “Elohim” often refers to the Anunnaki. However, not all Elohim were Anunnaki some were other beings encountered over time.

Update 3: Genesis 2:21-22

And the YHWH Elohiym caused a deep sleep to fall upon Humans and as they slept YHWH took on of their cells and closely joined the flesh underneith. And the YHWH Elohiym built up the Ishshah with the cell that was taken out of humans, and brought the Ishshah to the humans.

This sentence can be interpreted in two ways: as a transition from an androgynous state to a male-female duality, or as a genetic alteration of the human form that shifts it toward a less spirit and more physical existence. Similar themes appear in other creation stories.

Update 4: Matias de Stefano – Creation of Races

In Africa, hominids were identified as being on an evolutionary path toward consciousness. They were chosen because they sought information and were genetically able to receive and integrate it. Samples were taken from South Africa, Congo, Egypt, Arabia, the Middle East, and India.

Due to climate changes, these early humans were relocated and protected, often on islands, including the ancestors of the First Peoples of Australia. Different prototypes of humans were developed to determine which could best integrate with others.

Some lineages were shaped through direct reproduction between humans and beings from other worlds, while others received information through minerals and codes.

Update 5: Edgar Cayce

In the period, then—100,000- 98,000 years before the entry of Ram into India [See 364–3, Par. R2]—there lived in this land of Atlantis one Amilius [Adam], who had first noted that of the separations of the beings as inhabited that portion of the earth’s sphere or plane of those peoples into male and female as separate entities, or individuals. As to their forms in the physical sense, these were much rather of the nature of thought forms or able to push out of themselves in that direction in which its development took shape in thought—much in the way and manner as the amoeba would in the waters of a stagnant bay, or lake, in the present. As these took form, by the gratifying of their own desire for that as builded or added to the material conditions, they became hardened or set—much in the form of the existent human body of the day, with that of color as partook of its surroundings much in the manner as the chameleon in the present. Hence coming into that form as the red, or the mixture peoples—or colors; known then later by the associations as the red race.

Let it be remembered, or not confused, that the earth was peopled by animals before peopled by man! First that of a mass, which there arose the mist, and then the rising of same with light breaking over that as it settled itself, as a companion of those in the universe, as it began its natural (or now natural) rotations, with the varied effects upon the various portions of same, as it slowly—and is slowly—receding or gathering closer to the sun, from which it receives its impetus for the awakening of the elements that give life itself, by radiation of like elements from that which it receives from the sun. Hence that of one type, that has been through the ages, of mind—that gives the sun as the father of light in the earth. Elements have their attraction and detraction, or those of animosity and those of gathering together. This we see throughout all of the kingdoms, as may be termed, whether we speak of the heavenly hosts or of those of the stars, or of the planets, or of the various forces within any or all of same, they have their attraction or detraction.

From that which has been given, it is seen that individuals in the beginning were more of thought forms than individual entities with personalities as seen in the present, and their projections into the realms of fields of thought that pertain to a developing or evolving world of matter.

Update 6: Plato’s Symposium

Even the classical philosopher Plato (d. 348/347 BC) has a character speak about a primaeval androgyne. (See 189a-189b)

For our original nature was by no means the same as it is now. In the first place, there were three kinds of human beings, not merely the two sexes, male and female, as at present: there was a third kind as well, which had equal shares of the other two, and whose name survives though, the thing itself has vanished.

For ‘man-woman’ was then a unity in form no less than name, composed of both sexes and sharing equally in male and female; whereas now it has come to be merely a name of reproach.

Secondly, the form of each person was round all over, with back and sides encompassing it every way; each had four arms, and legs to match these, and two faces perfectly alike on a cylindrical neck.

There was one head to the two faces, which looked opposite ways; there were four ears, two privy members, and all the other parts, as may be imagined, in proportion. …

The number and features of these three sexes were owing to the fact that the male was originally the offspring of the sun, and the female of the earth; while that which partook of both sexes was born of the moon, for the moon also partakes of both.

Update 8: Man has not really changed that much since the beginning of time

The scientists would have us believe that if there were any human beings living during that distant time they must surely have been savages, or primitive cave dwellers. At the very least they would not be anyone we would be able to communicate with. The experts smugly claim that we are far too intellectually superior.

But I feel this story shows that man has not really changed that much since the beginning of time. His outer trappings, his world, changes, but not the essential core, the divine spark that makes him a human being. The same feelings and emotions have always been there. Only the way we react to them and learn from them have changed.

But what about the history that has not been passed down to us? Surely we cannot be so naive as to believe that what is recorded is all that there is. We cannot think that because we have no record of it, it didn’t happen. I believe there must have been several huge civilizations containing thousands of people who existed long before the advent of our present history. Someday concrete evidence of them may hopefully be found.

Update 9: Crossbreeding

At the very beginning, they were all working on individual projects. The genetic engineering in Africa led to the creation of the African races. Genetic engineering in Asia led to the Asian races, of course. In the Americas, it led to the Native American races. Genetic engineering in Europe led to the Caucasian races, and so on. At first these were all individual projects but eventually there started to be crossbreeding. The changes began happening not just on the surface but within the mass consciousness as well.

Update 10: Non Interference

In very ancient times, extraterrestrials (ETs) from older civilizations had a sacred responsibility to nurture younger civilizations. We also had to be very careful not to interfere. Thus, the work an ET civilization does with a new species trains the ET group as well. These ETs had to learn to do their work without interfering.

In those ancient days, various ET groups worked with new humans. The groups were all over the world. For this discussion, we will talk about one ancient Pleiadian group you might call elders.

They would travel your world to human communities being guided by ET groups, and they would give specific teachings. Their responsibility was to help new humans remember their roots. When we say “roots,” we do not mean only stars. We mean your roots all the way back to the One.

Thus, the role of these Pleiadian elders was to help you remember the One consciousness that you are. These were the origins of the Golden Lake teachings. Looking back to ancient times, a great many of these communities were found around lakes. Lakes represent a very stable resource.

Update 11: around 200,000 years ago DNA shifted from 24 to 23 pairs of chromosomes

At around 200,000 years ago, according to Kryon, human DNA shifted from 24 to 23 pairs of chromosomes. This alteration marks a separation between humans and our closest relatives (chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans) all of whom retain 24 pairs.

The DNA alteration was intentional and executed by the Pleiadians, an advanced extraterrestrial race from the stars

This moment becomes even more intriguing when compared with genetic research. While Kryon points to a DNA shift around 200,000 years ago, science also identifies this period as a key point for humanity’s ancestry.

Update 12: Garden of Paradise

We performed mystical practices that took us into the archetypal Garden of Paradise in which the ‘Tree of Life’ was revealed. Here we learned how to erect and climb the ‘Ladder of Light’ in order to harvest eternal, golden fruit. In this way and because of our internal illumination, we were able to live below the Earth’s surface in relative comfort and security. Our physical lives, if we chose, could extend into many centuries so that we could render great service during one lifetime.
