Claire Heartsong is an American author and channeler best known for her books about Anna, the grandmother of Jesus.
In 1988, during meditation, she experienced a direct encounter with Anna, who began transmitting telepathic messages. Heartsong received this material over a period of more than thirty years. The resulting book, Anna, Grandmother of Jesus, was first self-published and became a word-of-mouth bestseller before being picked up by mainstream spiritual publishers. It presents Anna’s first-person account of her life, the Essene community at Mount Carmel, the upbringing of Mary, and the early years and mission of Jesus.
She later co-authored Anna, the Voice of the Magdalenes with Catherine Ann Clemett. This sequel expands the narrative to include the wider circle of women around Jesus, the Magdalene lineage, and the continuation of their teachings after the crucifixion.
Heartsong’s work focuses on the Essene and Magdalene traditions, the feminine spiritual lineage connected to Jesus, and the restoration of suppressed historical and spiritual knowledge. She presents the material as telepathic communication received from Anna rather than as personal past-life memory or conventional historical research.
