Mount Carmel Mystery School
The stories he told about Carmel quickened my spirit, and I felt called to go to the mount where Samuel and Elijah had taught – there to establish myself as a full initiate within the ancient Essene mysteries. So it was that, with Aurianna, James, and five of my eight grandchildren, I left Jerusalem in 559 BC to begin a new life. Later, Mariamne and Ruth also joined the Mount Carmel community. My soul was at peace, and I looked to the future with a glad heart.
Just as you heard your soul’s call and we have come together to enter upon this journey to ‘Know Thyself’ more deeply as a living Christ, so did I respond to my heart’s call to enter into the Mount Carmel Mystery School.
Carmel, as we called our monastery, is one of the most ancient mystery schools that survived numerous rises of civilization. It has preserved the lineage that holds the Grail codes of ascension and incarnation through which the Divine Mother brings forth Christ Consciousness during cosmic, solar, and planetary cycles.

Elijah confronts King Ahab on Mount Carmel
Elijah said: Summon you your priests, and your high priests, who have power through Baal and Ashtaroth and Dagon, and they and their Gods should try in a tournament against Jehovih.
Ahab caused the tournament to take place, and when the priests and high priests of Baal had spread the sacrifice they repeated their invocations for a miracle to prove the power of Baal and the other Gods; but lo and behold, Jerub, the etherean angel, with ten thousand spirits to assist him, prevented any sign or miracle being accomplished by the familiar spirits of Baal and Ashtaroth.
When the tournament was ended, Elijah went upon Mount Carmel, and prayed for rain, and Jerub, with ten thousand times ten thousand angels, brought the winds from the north and south and east and west, and the moisture in the air above was converted into rain, and thus the long drought was ended.

In the canonical Old Testament, the core events match 1 Kings 18 closely, especially verses 19–40:
“Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
1 Kings 18:19 – Elijah speaks these words directly to King Ahab
- Elijah confronts King Ahab and challenges the prophets of Baal (and Ashtaroth is linked to Baal worship in the period).
- The contest happens on Mount Carmel.
- Prophets of Baal prepare a sacrifice but get no fire despite cries and rituals.
- Elijah prepares his altar, soaks it with water (three times), and prays.
- Fire falls from heaven, consuming the burnt offering, wood, stones, dust, and the water in the trench (1 Kings 18:38).
- The people see it, fear God, and say: “The LORD, He is God!” (1 Kings 18:39).
- Elijah later prays for rain, ending the drought (1 Kings 18:41–45).
