When faced with worker rebellion, Enki (the “brother” of Enlil) and Ninhursag genetically engineered humans by mixing Anunnaki DNA with hominins, creating a hybrid labor force to serve them.

The Anunnaki Earth mission’s medical officer was a female named Ninhursag, who had already beenworking with Enki in genetic experimentation.

On at least one Sumerian cylinder seal, an illustration ofEnki and Ninhursag depicted them surrounded by vials or vessels, a table, shelves, a plant, and a helper, looking very much like a laboratory.

Enki and Ninhursag produced many mutated creatures, includinganimals, such as bulls and lions with human heads, winged animals and apes, and humanoids with thehead and feet of goats.

It is written that Enki and Ninhursag took the reproductive cell or egg from a primitive African femalehominid and fertilized it with the sperm of a young Anunnaki male.

Continuing the Anunnaki narrative, Enki and Ninhursag went on to produce a number of Adamas, bothmale and female, although at this time they were incapable of reproduction and lived very short livescompared to the Anunnaki.

So Enki and Ninhursag set about to create an Adama race that could reproduceitself.

It was also referred to as the city ofSud, who has been identified as Ninhursag—the one who assisted Enki with the genetic creation of theLu-lu, the first Earthling.

If this Indus goddess was indeed Inanna, she continued her quest for power, according to the Sumeriantexts, eventually replacing Ninhursag among the major Anunnaki leaders.

Ninhursag: Known as the Lady of the Mountain, associated with life creation and mother figures.

Adam: Corresponds to the Sumerian Adamu, created by Enki and Ninhursag.

The Enki and Ninhursag myth declares: "Pure are the cities -- and you are the ones to whom they are allotted.

Enki received the island of Dilmun through this cosmic allotment, as the Enki and Ninhursag myth describes: "He laid her down all alone in Dilmun, and the place where Enki had lain down with his spouse, that place was still virginal, that place was still pristine."

He was believed to have established the city and to have built its most important temple, the E-Abzu, which was dedicated to the worship of Enki and his consort, the goddess Ninhursag.

Families and Women, integral to the social fabric of colonies, might find a parallel in Ninhursag, a mother goddess and the deity of fertility and the earth, reflecting the nurturing and sustaining roles of families.

The story features Enki (Ea) and Ninmah (Ninhursag) engaging in a humorous and somewhat ribald competition to create various human and animal beings, with Enki often needing Ninmah's help to fix his creations.

Oh my mother, the creature whose name thou has uttered, it exists,Bind upon it the (will?) of the Gods;Mix the heart of clay that is over the Abyss,The good and princely fashioners will thicken the clayThou, do thou bring the limbs into existence;Ninmah (Ninhursag, his wife and consort) will work above thee(Nintu?) (goddess of birth) will stand by thy fashioning;Oh my mother, decree thou its (the new born's) fate.

Ninhursag - Goddess of fertility, childbirth, and motherhood
