Paul Wallis

Paul Wallis is an author and speaker who lives in Australia. He was born in Buckinghamshire, England.

He served for 33 years in the Anglican Church of Australia as a church planter, theological educator and archdeacon. His 2020 book Escaping from Eden asks whether Genesis describes creation by God or contact with beings from elsewhere. He calls this field paleocontact, meaning contact between humans and non-human visitors in the deep past.

Later books in his Eden series follow the same question through myths from Sumer, Mesoamerica, Africa and Türkiye. They are Scars of Eden, The Eden Conspiracy, Echoes of Eden and The Eden Enigma.

He also hosts The 5th Kind, an online interview and documentary channel. Most of what this site holds on him is video, and 24 videos are tagged with him.
