Why do I think the Essenes are relevant to Atlantis?
In the book Jesus and the Essenes, in which Dolores Cannon records a past life regression of a man who lived in Qumran during the years of Jesus, I found this about the Essenes:
S: I have not seen them. It is said that much of the knowledge of our system, as we know it, has been handed down for many, many generations.
D : Do you know who made this model?
S: It is said that the Kaloo did.
This was the first time I came across the ‘Kaloo’. When I searched this word nothing came up. It could have been written completely different, this is just how Dolores heard it.
Etymology of divine names
The strong K reminded me of the research by Paul Wallis. Wallis discusses the pronunciation and etymology of divine names, focusing on the tetragrammaton (YHWH/Yahweh). He explains how the “h” sounds in proto-Northwest Semitic (an ancestor of Hebrew) were likely velar fricatives (“kh” or a hard/strong “k”-like sound, similar to the “ch” in Scottish “loch” or German “Bach”), rather than the softer modern glottal “hh.”
He ties this to a sound-softening process (affrication), using the example of “milk” (with a hard “k”) evolving toward “milkh” or “kh.”Wallis makes a broader case by linking this “kh kh” or hard “k”-ish sound to names of powerful non-human entities across ancient cultures that governed or interacted with humanity:
- Biblical examples (including parallels to Yahweh as “the Powerful One”).
- Mesoamerican: Quetzalcoatl, Gukumatz, Kukulcan.
- Others: Khokha (Spain/Portugal), Orokokis (Georgia), Akhekh (Egypt), Akhuchu/Khichedra (China), and more.
Atlantis connection
For now, this direction leads me nowhere. So let’s go back to Dolores Cannon. She continued the past-life regression:
D : Who are the Kaloo?
S: How do I say this..? They are the people who left their country to share the knowledge that they had gained with others. And it is said that we are from these people. It is said that we are members of their dying race. We are taught to spread knowledge among the uninformed in hopes to bring about the age of enlightenment again. I do not know much about them. Some of the masters know in great depth the things that they teach and who they were. It is knowledge that is only allowed to the eyes of certain ones. And it is not permitted to speak among strangers.
I wondered if they might have had some connection with the lost continent of Atlantis, and asked if he knew the name of the place they had come from.
S: I do not know. It is said that this has been lost. They say that they came from the direction that the sun sets, from the West. That they settled in Egypt and then traveled this way. I do not know where they went. This was many, many fathers ago.
I bolded the important words, which have a strong connection to Atlantis. If Atlantis is located in the Atlantic Ocean, then the direction is west. And Egypt traces its roots back to Atlantis, as, for example, Matias de Stefano, who remembers his past life 12,000 years ago as an Atlantean priestess in Khem.
So after reading Dolores Cannon’s Jesus and the Essenes, I started reading Anna, Grandmother of Jesus. It’s a channeled work by Clear Heartsong, and I can recommend this book to anyone who wants a different perspective on Jesus..
So how is Jesus connected to the Essenes?
The Essenes were an ancient mystical movement. The Essenes emphasized ascension practices and spiritual transformation. And Jesus (Yeshua) was one of them, to be more precise he was the long awaited Messiah and the Essenes prepared the way for him.
Here is an excerpt from that book:
Many years before I met him, John had joined a sect of Judaism called the Essenes. These, the most enlightened and uncorrupted of Judaic Hebrews, traced their origins back to the ancient mystery schools of Moses and Akhenaten and beyond.
Another excerpt from the book Anna, the voices of the Magdalenes:
His [Yeshua’s] family members are Essenes from Mount Carmel, where everyone dresses very simply.
How is it that I never heard of the Essenes before?
When I learned more and more about the Essenes, I felt disappointed that the Bible does not mention the Essenes even once!
But then again, the Bible doesn’t credit the female figures that surrounded Jesus, like Mary Magdalena, Anna (the grandmother), and Meriam (or Mary, the mother). Sadly, nowadays Mary Magdalena in Christianity is portrayed as a prostitute.
It strengthens my belief that Christianity has more to do with ancient books that were rewritten on the orders of Constantine, leading to militarized expansions, crusades, inquisitions, and wars.
But let’s not get too fuzzy about religion, let’s get back to the Essenes.
In this article, I have summarized the most important characteristics of the Essenes.
For now I will move away from the Atlanteans, focusing on the Essenes, to hopefully learn more about the Atlantean legacy and the underlying message that I believe is now more important than ever.

Update: Incalenes
In Frederick S. Oliver’s 1894 channeled book A Dweller on Two Planets (a well-known Atlantean source), the people of Poseid (Atlantis) worshiped Incal as their Supreme God (symbolized by the sun):
It had long been a matter of interest to me to learn all I could of this band of Nature students, Incalenes, as they were sometimes called, from Incal, God, and “ene,” to study. Thousands of years later, in the time of Jesus of Nazareth, these were called “Essenes.” link
Phonetically Kaloo is not to far of from Incal-enes or Incal.
Update: Ka – The wisdom of the Spirit
The Melchizedeks taught the wisdom of the Spirit, which the Egyptians called the “Ka”. That is why the Kaloo are so named: the word means “People of the Spirit”.
