Stuart Wilson is an English author born in Exmouth. His mother’s interest in Theosophy and Alice Bailey led to his lifelong interest in esoteric teachings. Theosophy is a 19th-century spiritual movement that wrote at length about Atlantis.
After service in the RAF he ran a small publishing business and wrote two name dictionaries, including Simply the Best Baby Name Book.
In 1990 he joined Joanna Prentis at the Starlight Centre in Devon. Together they wrote several books based on past-life regression, including Atlantis and the New Consciousness and a book on the Essenes. Past-life regression is a hypnosis method in which a person describes what they experience as earlier lives.
