Pythagoras is not an Atlantis author, but his name keeps coming up in my research as a link in a chain: a pupil of Egypt and Babylon, a teacher of reincarnation, and in channeled material a mission prepared from the other side. These are the pages where I wrote about him.
Reincarnation before and after Pythagoras
Allan Kardec, in his commentary on question 222 of The Spirits’ Book, which I quote on Reincarnation, says of the doctrine:
It was taught as a strict doctrine by Pythagoras; but he, as is well known, borrowed it from the Indian and Egyptian philosophers, among whom it had been held as a traditional tenet from time immemorial.
Allan Kardec, The Spirits' Book
Ignatius Donnelly makes a similar point about the Irish Druids in The Irish Colonies from Atlantis:
The metempsychosis or transmigration of souls was one of the articles of their belief long before the time of Pythagoras; it had probably been drawn from the storehouse of Atlantis, whence it passed to the Druids, the Greeks, and the Hindoos.
Ignatius Donnelly, Atlantis: The Antediluvian World

A student of Egypt, Babylon and Delphi
In Initiation, Matias de Stefano says that even Pythagoras hesitated before the arduous initiation of the Egyptian schools. Manly Palmer Hall, in The Star Lore of Babylon, says Pythagoras studied in Babylon and held that the planets revolved around the sun. On Oracle of Delphi known for its prophetic insights and deep spiritual authority I note that, according to Diogenes Laërtius, the Delphic priestess Themistoclea was a teacher of Pythagoras. Donnelly, in The antiquity of some of our great inventions, mentions the guiding arrow Pythagoras gave the Hyperborean magician Abaris.
In the hermetic and channeled chain
On Hermes Trismegistus I summarize the tradition that a work reproducing the start of the Emerald Tablet passed to Pythagoras, then to Plato, Aristotle and Alexander the Great. On Atlantis’ Readings a message attributed to the teacher Etey, from the Atlantis and Atlanteans material, says he was an Atlantean who worked in ancient Greece long before Pythagoras, and later helped prepare his mission. In The Essenes: Children of the Light, Stuart Wilson and Joanna Prentis present Essene recollections in which the Kaloo gained the confidence of the Pythagorean Order, as I quote on Kaloo: Ancient Ones and the Wise Ones that came from the direction where the sun sets, the West.
