Accorign to Diana Cooper, at the fall of Atlantis, the original High Priests and Priestesses each led one of the tribes to its new location. Here, the refugees interbred with the local people and shared their knowledge and wisdom with them. This resulted in a huge advance in civilisation worldwide. Because of their blond hair, blue eyes and glowing energy, and also because they were so advanced in comparison with the ordinary humans, they were considered to be Gods. The ultimate purpose of this merging of mighty ones with the populace was to enable more people to carry the wisdom of Atlantis in their genes. Now that people everywhere are seeking spirituality again, and the frequency of the planet is rising, this inherent genetic information is being released to enable the energy of pure Atlantis to return.

The twelve tribes eventually developed into the following cultures.

The Egyptian Connection

Thoth. He took his tribe to South America where they became the Incas, famed for their gold work. They were the priests and architects who built Machu Picchu and established the great twoway interdimensional portal there.

Isis. She came from the planet Venus and took her tribe to South America where they became the Aztecs, renowned for their magnificent art and their knowledge of the stars. The famous Aztec calendar began with the birth of Venus and calculations are based on advanced astronomical knowledge.

Horus. This tribe became the Babylonians, merchants and tradesmen who taught people how to trade with integrity according to spiritual law. They were the craftspeople of the buildings and gardens and developed the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Ra. This tribe became the Egyptian culture, which seeded the Pharaohs and took with it much medical knowledge and information about all natural therapies. They took with them the Sphinx and the design of the pyramids.

Sett. This tribe became the Innuit, who were shamans. They were connected with the element of water and had a symbiotic relationship with animals. They took with them many of the ancient stories and traditions.

Imhotep. The mighty High Priest of Atlantis was ruler of the tribe that took its wisdom to the west to form the Native American culture. The Cherokees were Wise Ones who carried the secrets of Atlantis. They brought their knowledge of shamanism and soul retrieval to the peoples, as well as their special abilities to work with dreams using dream catchers.

One of the gifts that was entrusted to them at the end of Atlantis was that of honouring the land including all things living in it and on it. The Native Americans have been keepers of the ancient wisdom of the Earth ever since. The Wise Ones of the tribes are now reminding humanity that it is important to tread lightly on the ground, for Earth does not belong to us.

According to ancient Cherokee tradition, their ancestors came from the Pleiades to the five islands of Atlantis, where they settled. Then, at the fall of Atlantis, the tribe sailed to the Americas taking their wisdom with them.

The Greek Connection

Hermes. This tribe went to Hawaii and became Kahunas, who remembered for us the most powerful form of prayer: the Huna prayer. They also brought the powerful dolphin link with them.

Zeus. This tribe went to Tibet. They brought with them the qualities of stillness, peace and harmlessness to all creatures and developed it into the Buddhist religion.

Aphrodite. She originated from Venus and led this tribe to South America. They became the Mayans, famed for their knowledge of astronomy and mathematics, which gave us the Mayan calendar and the placing and building of pyramids aligned to the stars.

Apollo. Western astrology as we know it today has come to us from Mesopotamia, but it originated in Atlantis. This tribe also gave us irrigation.

Poseidon. This tribe went to Greece. They carried with them the information about the navigation of the planet by using the stars, tides and winds. They were great scholars and the library of Carthage contained sailors’ charts in which a continent was depicted where the Atlantic Ocean now lies. They helped the people to develop medicine and healing.

Hera. This tribe went to New Zealand and became the Maori, who were mystics and shamans. They taught the people sacred chants, singing and the art of storytelling, as well as unique farming knowledge.

Who the 12 Tribes of Israel?

The 12 Tribes of Israel are the ancient tribes descended from the 12 sons of Jacob (who was renamed Israel by God in the Bible, Genesis 32:28 and 35:10). They form the foundational clans of the Israelite people in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament).

The 12 Sons / Tribes (in birth order)

Here is the standard list of the 12 Tribes, based on the sons of Jacob:

1. Reuben – firstborn son of Jacob and Leah
2. Simeon – second son of Jacob and Leah
3. Levi – third son of Jacob and Leah (the priestly tribe; they did not receive a large territorial inheritance like the others because they served in the Tabernacle/Temple)
4. Judah – fourth son of Jacob and Leah (the royal tribe; King David and Jesus came from this tribe)
5. Dan – first son of Jacob and Bilhah (Rachel’s maid)
6. Naphtali – second son of Jacob and Bilhah
7. Gad – first son of Jacob and Zilpah (Leah’s maid)
8. Asher – second son of Jacob and Zilpah
9. Issachar – fifth son of Jacob and Leah
10. Zebulun – sixth son of Jacob and Leah
11. Joseph – first son of Jacob and Rachel (his tribe was later divided into two: Ephraim and Manasseh)
12. Benjamin – second son of Jacob and Rachel (the youngest)

Important Notes on the List

• Joseph’s double portion: Because Joseph was favored, his father Jacob adopted Joseph’s two sons (Ephraim and Manasseh) as his own (Genesis 48). This effectively gave Joseph two tribes instead of one.
• As a result, the full traditional list of the 12 Tribes that received land inheritances in the Promised Land is usually:

  2. Simeon
  3. Judah
  4. Issachar
  5. Zebulun
  6. Dan
  7. Naphtali
  8. Gad
  9. Asher
  10. Benjamin
  11. Ephraim (son of Joseph)
  12. Manasseh (son of Joseph)
• Levi is the 13th in a sense — they were scattered among the other tribes as priests and did not receive a single large territory (though they had cities). Sometimes lists include Levi and count only one of Ephraim/Manasseh to keep it at 12.

Quick summary of the two common ways to list them

Version 1 (Sons of Jacob): Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin

Version 2 (Land inheritance tribes – most common in maps of ancient Israel): Reuben, Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Benjamin, Ephraim, Manasseh (Levi = priestly tribe, no single territory)

It was in December of the year 612 BC, that a child had been born in the village of Etam, just three miles south of Bethlehem, in Judea. A descendant of the tribes of Judah, Levi, and Joseph, this child was named Hannah, after the mother of Samuel the Prophet. Her birth took place about 358 years after the reign of David the King and some 110 years after the Kingdom of Israel had been conquered and carried away into captivity by the Assyrians.

David’s Place in the Tribes

• David belongs to the Tribe of Judah — one of Jacob’s 12 sons.
• His genealogy (as given in the Bible, e.g., Ruth 4:18–22 and 1 Chronicles 2) traces back through the line of Judah → Perez → Hezron → Ram → Amminadab → Nahshon → Salmon → Boaz → Obed → Jesse → David.
• So David is a descendant of one of the original 12 tribes (specifically Judah, the tribe from which the royal line and later the Messiah are prophesied to come — see Genesis 49:10).

David is famous for uniting the 12 tribes under one kingdom (after initially ruling only Judah for about 7½ years, he becomes king over all Israel). After his son Solomon’s death, the kingdom splits again, with the Davidic line continuing mainly in the southern Kingdom of Judah (tribes of Judah and Benjamin).

And so it was that I began the next phase of my long life to fulfil the great desire of my heart, which was to bring forth those characters who would support the coming of the High King, born of the lineage of David.

Myriam of Tyana: My family is of the tribes of Benjamin and Manasseh and most of them have lived in the region of Cappadocia in Turkey for many generations. Before that, my ancestors were held captive in northern Babylonia. Before the time of King Nebuchadnezzar, they lived in Israel, and prior to that, Egypt. Our forefather is Abraham and our great matriarch is Sarah, who went to Egypt and Mount Sinai from Ur of the Chaldees. My blood is seeded not only with this auspicious lineage, but also with that of the pharaohs of Egypt, Queen Sheba of Ethiopia and the Assyrian royalty. Some of my relatives left Cappadocia and took up residence in what used to be known as Israel, but is now called Samaria and Galilee near Mount Tabor. Many of the tribes of Judah and Ephraim spurn us, calling us Samaritans, saying our bloodline is tainted and our worship of the Goddess is blasphemous. I used to find their condescension and bigoted attachment to the letter of the law bothersome, but now I feel compassion towards anyone who is bound by such ignorance. My immediate family is considered affluent and well-educated. We do not keep slaves and we abhor sacrifice of any kind. Many of us, including my father, ascribe to the teachings of Zoroaster, in addition to the writings within the Torah and other mystical oral traditions passed down from Moses, the Egyptian alchemists and the Greek philosophers.

Abraham and Sarah

• Abraham (originally Abram) and Sarah (originally Sarai) → They are the first of the three great Patriarchs and Matriarchs. God makes a covenant with Abraham: “I will make you into a great nation” and “all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:2–3, 17).
• Isaac — their miraculously born son (when Abraham was 100 and Sarah 90).
• Jacob (renamed Israel by God) and Esau — sons of Isaac and Rebekah.
• The 12 Sons of Jacob/Israel — whose descendants become the 12 Tribes of Israel.
• Much later: King David — from the Tribe of Judah (one of Jacob’s sons).
• Even later: Jesus — called “Son of David” and “Son of Abraham” in the New Testament genealogies (Matthew 1 and Luke 3).

In short: Abraham & Sarah → Isaac → Jacob/Israel → 12 Tribes → David (from Judah) → Jesus

Abraham and Sarah receive the initial covenant promise from God (~2000–1800 BC in traditional dating).

Abraham and Sarah are the grandparents of Jacob and therefore the great-grandparents (or further back) of all the tribal founders. The 12 Tribes exist because of God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah that their descendants would become a mighty nation and inherit the land of Canaan.

Jacob and Esau were twin brothers, the sons of Isaac and Rebekah (the second of the three great Patriarchs and Matriarchs we discussed).

Who is Esau?

• Esau is the older twin (born first, just minutes before Jacob).
• His name means “red” or “hairy” in Hebrew, because he was born covered in red hair (Genesis 25:25).
• He grew up to be a skillful hunter, a rugged man of the outdoors, and his father Isaac’s favorite son.
• Jacob, by contrast, was quieter, stayed among the tents, and was his mother Rebekah’s favorite.

The Famous Story (Genesis 25–27)

Even before birth, the twins struggled in Rebekah’s womb. God told her:

“Two nations are in your womb… one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” (Genesis 25:23)

Key events:

1. Birthright sold for stew — One day Esau came home famished from hunting. Jacob was cooking red lentil stew. Esau said, “Feed me!” Jacob offered the stew in exchange for Esau’s birthright (the special rights of the firstborn son, including double inheritance and spiritual leadership of the family). Esau, despising the birthright at that moment, agreed: “What good is the birthright to me if I die of hunger?” He sold it for a bowl of stew.
2. Stolen blessing — Years later, when Isaac was old and blind, he wanted to give his final blessing (and the covenant promise from Abraham) to Esau. Rebekah and Jacob deceived Isaac: Jacob disguised himself as Esau (wearing goat skins to feel hairy), and received the blessing instead. Esau was furious and planned to kill Jacob.
3. Reconciliation — Jacob fled, had his famous dream of the ladder to heaven, and later wrestled with God (being renamed Israel). Many years later, the brothers met again and reconciled peacefully.

Long-term Outcome

• Jacob (Israel) became the father of the 12 sons → the 12 Tribes of Israel. The Abrahamic covenant promise (land, descendants, blessing to all nations) continued through his line.
• Esau became the ancestor of the Edomites (a nation that lived southeast of Israel, in the area of modern southern Jordan). The Edomites and Israelites had a long history of tension and conflict.

Let’s just say that I had enough training in this lineage that came down from Osiris and Isis to meet the minimum requirements.
