Lemurians: androgynous with group focused consciousness

The Lemurians were androgynous, and their consciousness focused more at the group than the individual level—but most importantly, they were etheric rather than physical beings. The etheric is the next division of matter above the physical level.

The Lemurians were a people with impressive spirituality… They were hermaphroditic beings… The Atlanteans already had a difference. There were many hermaphrodites and many non-hermaphrodites… The body of the Atlanteans was already more materialized and less ethereal… They had a very developed intellect… They began to worship the body more. The Lemurians, the third Root-Race on Earth, emerged around 18 million years ago during the Jurassic period. This race, also called the Dânavas in Hindu literature, inhabited the continent of Lemuria (Shâlmali) and marked the materialization of humanity into physical forms with separated sexes. He details their evolution through seven sub-races, physical traits, reproduction methods, and eventual decline due to volcanic activity.

Physical Characteristics

Lemurians were gigantic, animal-like at first, evolving from boneless to bony structures. Early sub-races had soft, gaseous bodies; by mid-period, they developed solid bones. They possessed a “third eye” (pineal gland) for astral and physical vision, retreating inward by later sub-races. Full quote: “The ‘third’ eye gave impressions of the physical in the mass rather than in detail, and the temporary closing-in was the way to clearer sight.” (p. 158).

Skin colors varied: early sub-races black or brown-black; later ones bluish-white. They were contemporary with pterodactyls and megalosauruses, holding their own among giants. Speech started as vowel cries, evolving to monosyllabic; modern Chinese descends from it. Full quote: “The Chinese of to-day is the sole great lineal descendant of Lemurian speech, for ‘the whole human race was at that time of one language and of one lip’ (The Secret Doctrine, II, 208).” (p. 159).

Reproduction and Evolution

The race recapitulated third-round processes, shifting from asexual to sexual reproduction over 5½–6 million years. Sub-races overlapped due to evolutionary differences.

• First Sub-Race: Sweat-born; extruded soft bodies; unity consciousness (Âtmâ only). Full quote: “In the first sub-race, the method of reproduction was by extrusion of soft, viscid bodies – the ‘sweat’ – whence they derive their name of the ‘sweat-born.’ Within the body the sexes scarcely showed at all.” (p. 156).
• Second Sub-Race: Eggs hardened; duality consciousness (Âtmâ-Buddhi). Full quote: “In the second sub-race, the exuded bodies hardened: ‘the drops become hard and round. The Sun warmed it; the Moon cooled and shaped it; the wind fed it until its ripeness’ (The Secret Doctrine, II, 20).” (p. 157).
• Third Sub-Race: Hermaphrodites; eggs thinned, creatures emerged developed; triplicity consciousness (Âtmâ-Buddhi-Manas). Full quote: “In the third sub-race, the creature developed within the envelope, which was now a shell, and which became thinner and thinner, and evolved double sex organs.” (p. 158).
• Fourth Sub-Race: Sexes separated around 10–11 million years ago; black-skinned; first truly human. Barhishads (Moon Lords) provided etheric doubles for types. “The fourth Lemurian sub-race. This was the first which was in any sense, except the embryonic, human; and it may be dated from the giving of the forms by the Barhishads.” (p. 163).
• Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Sub-Races: More human; black or brown-black, evolving to bluish-white. Egg-headed types persisted. “The fifth, sixth and seventh sub-races of the Lemurian Race were much more what we should now call human than their predecessors had been.” (p. 167).

Egos from Moon Chain incarnated, including orange group refusing bodies, leading to “sin of the mindless” (intermingling with animals, creating anthropoids). Full quote: “And those which had no Spark took huge she-animals unto them. They begat upon them dumb races. Dumb they were themselves. But their tongues untied. The tongues of their progeny remained still. Monsters they bred. A race of crooked red-hair-covered monsters going on all fours. A dumb race to keep the shame untold.” (p. 163–164, quoting Book of Dzyan).

Civilization and Society

Ruled by Divine Kings (incarnated Barhishads), they built cyclopean cities and temples, like Shamballah. Full quote: “Under the guidance of the Divine Androgynes, who ruled as Divine Kings, this sub-race built mighty cities, huge cyclopean temples, mighty and massive, built so that fragments still remain. They built Shamballah itself, the Holy City, the Sacred Dwelling-place, which still stands unshaken, a witness to the skill that planned and the strength that built.” (p. 161).

One city on Madagascar; others on continent. Psychic vision persisted; some animal domestication (scaly monsters). Degraded remnants: Australian aborigines, Andaman Islanders, some African tribes.

Languages

The language taught in school is, of course, Lemurian as Telos is a Lemurian culture. The Lemurian language originates from the universal language of our galaxy, known as Solara Maru. Other planetary root languages like Sanskrit, Hebrew and Egyptian also trace their origins back to Solara Maru.

The Lords of Venus

Powell describes the Lords of Venus, also known as the Lords of the Flame or Sons of the Fire, as advanced entities from Venus who arrived on Earth to accelerate human evolution by awakening the spark of mind in early humanity. This event occurred 16½ million years ago during the middle of the third Root-Race (Lemurian), at a time when astrological and magnetic conditions were optimal.

One of the “moons” plunged into the Pacific Ocean, destroying a great civilization that some esoteric texts called Mu and Kasskara Hopi call.

Lemurians averaged between 4 and 6 meters (19.69 feet) in height. They possessed a physical third eye, allowing direct clairvoyant perception. Their temples and cosmic ships reflected advanced knowledge, including use of atomic energy from minerals, plants, and metals.

Initially hermaphroditic, Lemurians later divided into two sexes. Under guidance of higher beings, procreation was conducted through White Tantra within temples, ensuring incarnation of higher souls.

A cosmic intervention introduced the Kundabuffer organ, stabilizing the planet but also generating temptation and ego. Misuse of sexual energy led many into degeneration, while others preserved the higher path.

Kryon (channeled by Lee Carroll)

Kryon describes Lemuria as an ancient civilization that existed around 40,000 years ago on Earth, which had different geological and climatic conditions. The planet rotated at a 28-degree axial tilt, was at the end of a major ice age, and had one-third of its water as ice. This resulted in an average atmospheric temperature 8 degrees lower than today and ocean levels 133 meters (436 feet) (436 feet (132 meters)) lower, exposing land now underwater, including mountain ranges.

Lemurians settled at the base of the mountain now known as Hawaii, the highest from its base, in a basin below average sea level. They lived on dry land in parts of what is now the Pacific Ocean floor, protected by surrounding mountains from tectonic activity. The society lasted over 20,000 years, spanning 800 generations, and was the longest-lasting on Earth. They were aware of their vulnerability to rising water levels if temperatures increased and lived near active volcanoes, which they revered, due to the region’s tectonic hot spot.

Spiritually, 350 million unique angelic souls participated in the Lemurian culture, each incarnating only once without reincarnation among them. This low population growth stemmed from a low birth rate, influenced by the cold climate and reduced male fertility, which aligned with their spiritual needs.

Around 15,000 years ago, ice melting caused water levels to rise slowly. Lemurians adapted by becoming seafaring and building ships. The process accelerated due to water weight shifts causing earthquakes, flooding their basin between 15,000 and 10,000 years ago. This erased all structures, leading the society to disperse. Some survivors climbed the mountain, and by 10,000 years ago, water levels stabilized near current ones, leaving the mountain’s peak as the Hawaiian islands, the remnants of their capital.

Lemuria, or Moo, is described as the first civilization, existing 650 million years ago. Its center was Moal, the first mountain of the world, located where modern-day Hawaii and New Zealand now stand. Lemurians are referred to as children of innocence, embodying a deep spiritual connection with nature.

The “surface” vibration is currently transitioning from the third dimension into a fourth/fifth dimensional reality. The other dimensions exist around us but most people living on the surface do not yet possess a consciousness evolved enough to perceive them.

Prior to the sinking of their continent, the ancient Lemurians were fully aware of the eventual destiny of their beloved land and used their mastery of energy, crystals, sound and vibrations to hollow out a vast underground city with the intention of preserving their culture, their treasures and their records of ancient Earth history.

This section of history has been lost to humanity since the sinking of Atlantis. Lemuria was once a vast continent, larger than North America, connected to parts of California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington states. This large continent disappeared overnight into the Pacific Ocean over 12,000 years ago during a vast cataclysm. All inhabitants of the Earth at that time considered Lemuria their motherland and there was much grieving on the Earth when it was lost.

They can also teleport and make themselves invisible at will. Their mother tongue is the Lemurian language, called Solara Maru, but they also speak an impeccable English with a slight British accent.

The Lemurians had reportedly mastered atomic energy, telepathic and clairvoyant skills, electronics and science as much as 18,000 years ago. Most of their technology is controlled through thought. In ancient times, they propelled their boats using energy radiated by crystals. They used airships for travel to Atlantis and other places. Today they have a fleet of spaceships, called the “Silver Fleet,” in which they travel to and from the mountain and out into space.

The Four Lemurian Ages

Huna Flash identifies four key periods in Lemurian history:

1. Lemuria 1: Centered in the Pacific.
2. Lemuria 2: Spanning from the Americas to Europe.
3. Lemuria 3: Centered in Asia, including India and Tibet.
4. Lemuria 4: Based in Africa, particularly around Table Mountain.

The final fall of Lemuria occurred 60 million years ago during a significant war. A comet, described as a weapon, struck what is now the Gulf of Mexico, marking the end of the Lemurian era.

Lura 5: The Present Age

Huna Flash states that humanity is entering “Lura 5” a new phase of spiritual awakening. This period involves reconnecting with Lemurian teachings and undoing historical distortions.

DNA Activation

Efforts are underway to activate higher-dimensional DNA strands. Huna Flash discusses the goal of progressing from 12-strand DNA to 24-strand DNA, enabling humanity to align with cosmic energies.

The Lemurian continent featured a spur where the Rmoahal race originated, located approximately at 7° north latitude and 5° west longitude, corresponding to today’s Ashanti coast in West Africa. This area was hot and moist, with antediluvian animals in swamps and forests, their fossils now in coal measures.

Lemurians included sub-races, notably the sixth and seventh, who inhabited southern Atlantis and were black aborigines. The Rmoahals, a dark mahogany-black giant race (initially 10-12 feet (3.66 meters) tall, later shrinking), migrated there, leading to constant warfare with these Lemurian sub-races. Some Rmoahals moved north, while others settled and intermarried with the black Lemurian aborigines.

Eluña 

The Lemurians were highly attuned to the Earth’s energies and operated in harmony with nature. It was common for Lemurians to have their third eye open, giving them access to spiritual abilities and multi-dimensional consciousness from birth.

The society emphasized healing practices and lived primarily in the fifth dimension, allowing for a deep connection with higher consciousness while maintaining physical bodies. Lemurians reached a state of contentment with their spiritual evolution, focusing less on material or technological advancement.

Lemurians became aware of shifts in Atlantean energy and experienced trauma for the first time when Atlantis attempted to infiltrate Lemuria, which grounded them more in the third-dimensional reality.

James Churchward

Churchward described Mu as an advanced civilization, led by a superior “white race” and home to 64 million people before its destruction around 12,000 years ago. He attributed its demise to catastrophic earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, leading to its submersion under the Pacific.

Churchward linked Mu to major ancient civilizations, including Egypt, Greece, and Central America, and believed its people influenced megalithic architecture worldwide. He saw common symbols like the sun across these cultures, drawing parallels to Mu’s sun worship. He also claimed that Polynesian megalithic art originated from Mu, though his assertions about the materials and origins of artifacts like the moai statues on Easter Island were later disproven.
