Pleiadians
The Pleiadians, from the star cluster known as the Pleiades, are frequently mentioned in New Age beliefs. They are often described as being particularly concerned with Earth and its inhabitants, including marine life like whales. Some theories suggest that Pleiadians communicate with whales or dolphins, or that these marine animals are somehow linked to Pleiadian energy or consciousness.
Sirians
Beings from the Sirius star system, often referred to as Sirians, are believed to have a special connection with Earth’s oceans and marine life. These theories sometimes include the idea that Sirians have a symbiotic relationship with whales and dolphins, viewing them as sentient beings with deep spiritual significance.
Arcturians
Arcturians, purportedly from the star system Arcturus, are another group of extraterrestrials that are sometimes linked to oceanic life on Earth. In some narratives, they are believed to collaborate with or guide marine species, including whales, for the purpose of healing the Earth or advancing spiritual awakening.
Channeling and Psychic Claims
Some individuals who have psychic abilities or who engage in channeling practices have purportedly received messages or insights from Atlantean spirits or entities. In some of these narratives, references are made to connections between Atlantis and marine life, including dolphins and whales.

In Turkish, “Jonah’s fish” (yunus balığı) is the term used for dolphins. A long-established expression among sailors uses the term “a Jonah” to mean a sailor/passenger whose presence on board brings bad luck and endangers the ship. Later, this meaning was extended to “a person who carries a jinx, one who will bring bad luck to any enterprise.”
