Genesis

Genesis is the first book of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. It presents a series of narratives, starting with the creation of the world and humanity. The book is divided into two main sections: the primeval history and the patriarchal history.

Primeval history (Chapters 1–11): This part of the book covers the creation of the world, the Garden of Eden, the fall of man, the story of Cain and Abel, the Great Flood, and the Tower of Babel.
Patriarchal history (Chapters 12–50): This section follows the lives of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. It details God’s covenant with Abraham and the beginning of the Israelite nation.
