Early Losses and Turning Away
Robert experienced the passing of several loved ones in a short period. His uncle, who had cancer, passed away at the end of that year. These events left Robert disillusioned, and he felt that despite his prayers, no divine intervention occurred. As a result, he decided not to reach out to God, though he hoped God might reach out to him someday.
College in Central Florida
Robert attended a church-affiliated college in Central Florida. One requirement was attending weekly meetings every Wednesday morning. Missing more than one could lead to expulsion. At one of these meetings, he met representatives from the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), Edgar Cayce’s foundation. This encounter led him to join a local A.R.E. group, where he participated in prayer groups, projects, and programs based on Cayce’s materials.
Development of Spiritual Abilities
During this time, Robert’s abilities to see auras began to emerge. Initially, he perceived a dark zone around people, which later developed color and light. He found that he could use these abilities to help others and eventually took them for granted, believing that everyone could see auras but might not realize it.
Healing Abilities
Robert’s healing abilities also surfaced. He recalled a 1970 incident when he helped his cousin, who had a blister, by simply holding his hand over it. The pain disappeared, and the blister healed faster than expected. Later, Robert’s cousin asked him to help her boyfriend, a Vietnam War veteran suffering from migraines caused by a skull injury. Using out-of-body projection, Robert visited the boyfriend’s apartment in Atlanta, Georgia, and successfully healed him. The boyfriend woke up completely healed at 3 a.m., as Robert had predicted.
Spiritual Awakening and Out-of-Body Experiences
Robert learned to control his out-of-body experiences through Kundalini meditation. He described how he could leave his body and travel mentally to different places. Over time, he refined his ability to project himself to specific locations. He recounted an experience during the Gulf War when he perceived rockets called “Scud” before they were widely known, confirming his belief in the power of mental projection.
Encounters with Archangel Michael
In 1971, while attending metaphysical groups, Robert had an out-of-body experience where he encountered Archangel Michael. This encounter was deeply significant, with Michael sharing details about Robert’s spiritual path and identity. Michael later communicated with Robert, revealing that Robert was destined to play a role in ushering in a new age. The information Robert received was later confirmed by a well-known psychic, who quoted Michael word for word during a reading.
Experimenting with the Geller Effect
Robert experimented with the Geller Effect, named after psychic Uri Geller, known for bending spoons and altering matter with his mind. He recounted instances where he bent forks and knives in public settings, which shocked those around him. These experiments further reinforced his belief in the power of mental projection and energy manipulation.
Healing Practices and Challenges
In the early 1970s, Robert focused on healing work, particularly at a metaphysical group led by a medical secretary. One notable case involved a woman with lung damage from radiation therapy. After Robert prayed and shared energy with her, her lungs completely cleared, as confirmed by a doctor the next day. However, the medical secretary cautioned Robert about the legal risks of his healing work, warning him that he could be arrested for practicing medicine without a license.
Conclusion
Robert expressed that his happiest moments were during the early and mid-1970s when he was deeply involved in healing work. However, he also began experimenting with weather manipulation during this period, hinting that further exploration of this would be discussed in a future session.
