Beings from other stars and dimensions have complicated this idea through their actions on Earth. In ancient times, these extraterrestrial visitors acted as gods, sharing knowledge with early human societies and causing confusion about the true nature of divinity.

In my research on Atlantis is became clear that we not only have visits from extra terrestials, but that we are formed by them.
The Garden(s) of Eden were enclosed gardens where genetics were injected into the most primal humans to create the species we are today. They created us, guided us, and when they had to leave, they left us with their knowledge through priesthoods. Over time, that knowledge became diluted.
Over time, ET genetics diluted. Life spans got shorter, and much of humanity deeply buried the knowledge of their celestial origins. Religions, with their dogma, replaced the true teachings from the stars, and humankind entered a temporary metaphorical sleep until a time in the distant future when it would be time to awaken.

You know quite completely the difficulties that Earth has gone through, such as how many times the lands have shifted and how many times help has come from the skies. Information was distorted when those who came from the skies to move you along in your development were turned into gods. As children idolize those who can do what they cannot do, your society clearly demonstrates this same method of creating godhood.

For atheist, gods fill in for what science does not yet explain. Atheists think more science will make gods unnecessary. They say math and equations will cover everything, even the infinite. Academia became a new religion, avoid the things the can’t explain like reincarnations, time travel, extraterrestials etc.
In the same way that religious people believe blindly in religion, scientists believe blindly in the theories of others. Both are just believers rather than truth seekers. Real intelligence questions everything, especially pseudo human science. A free mind will always enquire. Real scientists that possess free minds want to see for themselves; they do not listen to studies, they conduct the studies themselves.

Conclussion
Throughout history, people have mixed up ideas about God. It helps to think of God as the “all”, everything that exists, including all of creation. This matches pantheism, where everything is part of one divine whole. It includes other gods too.
We are all part of this one, and this one is all. It remains god-like. This approach is inclusive: it does not reject any god as unreal. Instead, it sees every idea of a god as part of all that exists, and thus part of the greater God.
Looking into the missing pieces of our history, such as the Atlantean era, we might be able to find out who these powerfull beings were and how they have assist us.
I’m curious if we can trace back all the humanlike gods from the religion to their star origin, it’s an impossible task, but we have help from sources that are usually dismissed and while we probably will never get it right, the least thing we can do is to start to puzzle, and see how far we get.

Secondly, Jesus presented his own experience of God, the Source of the Cosmos, as something unknown to his devout Jewish apostles. As devout Jews of the first century, Jesus’ closest followers knew Yahweh and knew him well. They had been schooled in the ways of Yahweh since infancy. But they did not know the Cosmic God the “pater en tois ouranois” the “father in the heavens” of Jesus.
In John 14, Jesus speaks these words to the people sitting in front of him, who were all devout Jewish believers: “If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.”
Apparently, whoever these devout Jews knew as God it was not the one Jesus called “Father.” Jesus’ apostle, Philip then asks Jesus, “Show us The Father!”
This is Philip’s acknowledgement that he and the other disciples are not familiar with the God whom Jesus addresses as “Father.”
It is noteworthy that Jesus does not respond to Philip by saying, “Of course you already know the Father. Haven’t you read the teachings of Moses and the stories of Yahweh?”
On the contrary, he points to himself and says, “Anyone who has seen me has seen The Father.” In this intimate conversation, which is all about seeing Jesus as an emanation of the “Father,” the name Yahweh is nowhere to be seen.

Eons ago, Earth was but a thought in the minds of great beings who had set before themselves the task of creating new forms of existence. Many of these beings affected the creation of this universe, and you have termed them God. In actuality, they were extraterrestrial light-bearing energies far removed from Prime Creator. We rarely use the term God with a big G. If we were to use that term, we would be referring to the entity we know as Prime Creator. The Atlantean era lasted for thousands of years. The fall of Atlantis is often dated to around 9,600 BC, but its influence continued until about 3,000 BCE. The unification of Lower and Upper Egypt may have been an effort to restore the Atlantean ideals. However, it used systems based on knowledge and authority. This led to the need for some groups to leave Egypt and restart with chosen individuals in the region.
I propose that this is the root of Abrahamic religions. They preserved texts passed down over generations, but the true meanings faded over time. Descriptions of spaceships evolved into symbols like divine beings, Noah’s Ark, or chariots in the sky. The selected and guided people became tribes led by shepherds.
