Maat is the Egyptian name for truth, balance and the order of the cosmos, and on this site she turns up as a goddess, a principle and even a ruler in the king lists. These are the pages where she appears.
Truth on the scales
On Anubis, guide of the underworld the weighing of the heart takes place in the Hall of Ma’at, where Anubis weighs the heart of the dead against her feather of truth. On Confrontation between Yahweh and the Egyptian Gods the pharaoh is the living embodiment of that divine order. On Pre-dynastic Rulers the early rulers are presented as chosen by the gods to keep order and harmony, and on Karnak the temple reliefs and rituals are tied to maat as cosmic order.
A month of harvest
In the African calendar Mkhulu Nsingiza presents, the deities each rule a month, and Ma’at governs February:
February, governed by Ma'at, is the time for harvest and balance.

The full talk is on Understanding the Ancient African Calendar, and The Northern and the Southern Hemisphere sets that February harvest against the seasons of the north.
A ruler and a trinity
On The semi-mythical aspect of Manetho’s king list Ma’at appears among the demigods who ruled Egypt, with a reign of 2,150 years, while the Turin King list gives her a much shorter reign. On Trinities and Universal Structures in Atlantean Civilization she forms a feminine trinity with Nut and Hathor. On Rta: The Cosmic Order Maat stands next to Rta, Asha and Logos as one of the names for the same idea of cosmic order.
