How did we become Homo sapiens? Science answers with Africa and slow evolution. Many of my sources answer with intervention, earlier races and lost humanities. On this site I keep both answers in view. These are the pages where the question comes up.
Out of Africa
On Is the Out of Africa Theory Outdated? I follow the Jebel Irhoud finds in Morocco, which pushed the age of our species back and spread its birth across the whole continent. I tie that to the oldest mine and the Zulu first man on Africa: The Oldest Mine, the Nommo and the First Man.
Where evolution stops
On Darwin’s natural evolution theory only seems to hold until 300,000 years ago I read Abel, Cain and Seth as stages in the development of humanity rather than single people. On 34 Things that are strange about humans I list the traits that set us apart, from walking on two legs to our large, hungry brains.
The Adam race
On The Adam race I go back to the Garden story and the translation of the words behind it. Oahspe names the first two races:
And the name of the first race was Asu (Adam), because they were of the earth only; and the name of the second race was I'hin (Abel), because they were capable of being taught spiritual things.
Oahspe, First Book of the First Lords, Ch. I, v. 4
That verse is quoted on Little People, where I set Oahspe’s small I’hins next to Jim Davidson’s claim of a race made to work the mines.
Older than the textbooks
On Artifacts and human remains found in layers of rock from the Eocene period, 50 million years ago I look at the bones and tools the California geologist Josiah Whitney recorded from gold mine tunnels. On Before Atlantis: Antarctic, Hyperborean, Lemurian and Atlantean humanity I follow the five humanities of the Mission Rahma text.
