Betty Kovács

Changing Consiousness

Betty Kovács began her exploration of different worldviews at a young age. She was exposed to two primary stories: the Christian narrative, emphasizing ethics and love, and the scientific story, which portrayed a purposeless, material existence. Dissatisfied with both, she embarked on a lifelong quest to understand reality through experience rather than belief.

Cultural Worldviews

Growing up, Kovács encountered two dominant perspectives. The Christian worldview focused on living an ethical life, while the scientific worldview emphasized that life was a meaningless accident of nature. Unable to accept either, she sought an understanding of reality that could be experienced directly.

University and Quest for Knowledge

Kovács went to university to explore alternative worldviews. She was drawn to traditions that did not adhere to the materialistic narrative. Her quest was for direct experience, rather than intellectual belief. In her studies, she discovered that many profound mystical traditions, particularly in Judaism and Christianity, had been destroyed or inverted.

Mythology and the Tree of Life

As a child, Kovács learned the Judaic story of the Tree of Life, where Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat from the tree in the Garden of Eden. In contrast, she later studied the Sumerian version, where the gods offered humanity the fruit of the Tree of Life freely, symbolizing enlightenment and connection with the divine.

Judaism and Christianity

Kovács discovered that first Temple Judaism was a shamanic and mystical tradition that valued both the masculine and feminine aspects of the divine. However, later Judaism and Christianity erased this balance, promoting a worldview where only the male divine figure remained. She found that this led to a culture disconnected from its deeper spiritual roots.

Megalithic Cultures and Sacred Space

Kovács explained that ancient megalithic cultures worldwide were deeply connected to the cosmos. Their temples and observatories were built to align with Earth and cosmic energies, facilitating human transformation. She emphasized that these cultures saw no distinction between science and mysticism, using sacred spaces to experience higher consciousness.

Renaissance of Mystical Traditions

Kovács highlighted several periods where suppressed mystical traditions re-emerged. In Europe, Renaissance movements brought back ancient knowledge, often kept alive in underground traditions. This included influences from Egyptian death and rebirth mysteries, Jewish Kabbalah, and Christian mysticism.

Suppression by Religious Authorities

Throughout history, mystical traditions were suppressed by religious authorities. The Roman Church, in particular, destroyed alternative spiritual practices, labeling them heretical. Despite this, the traditions persisted underground, influencing periods of spiritual and intellectual awakening, such as the Italian Renaissance and later movements in England and Germany.

Modern Rediscovery of Mystical Knowledge

In recent times, quantum physics and the rediscovery of ancient mystical traditions have reignited interest in higher consciousness. Kovács pointed out that scientists, philosophers, and mystics are coming together to explore the interconnectedness of the universe, often aligning scientific discoveries with ancient spiritual insights.

The Cosmic Consciousness and Humanity’s Role

Kovács concluded by emphasizing the current era as a pivotal time in human history. She stressed that humanity is at a crossroads, with the potential to reconnect with cosmic consciousness and heal the planet. The resurgence of ancient mystical traditions and the development of new scientific knowledge offer hope for a future where humanity can live in harmony with the cosmos.
