Cairo is mostly a backdrop on my pages, the modern city beside Giza, but a few sources give it a deeper past. These are the pages where it appears.
Cairo as Babylon
On Genesis 11 – Tower of Babel I note that Abraham Ortelius’ 1575 atlas marks Cairo as “formerly Babylon”. The summary of Robert Edward Grant’s talk on 4th & 5th Giza Pyramids + Lost Tower of Babel FOUND says he posits that Cairo might have been the original Babylon.
Deep time near Cairo
On Nile sediment layers dated back approximately 13,500 years Leonard Horner conducted geological research near Cairo. The summary of Samael Aun Weor’s teaching on Our Hidden Connections to Atlantis, Lemuria & Beyond, also used on Pyramid of Giza, says the sages who left Atlantis established centres of learning, including in Cairo. On Does the Merneptah Stele Refer to Israel? the stele found by Flinders Petrie is preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
