Kosmon is the name Oahspe gives to our own era, and it turns up on almost every Oahspe page I have written. Oahspe, published in 1882, was received by John Ballou Newbrough through automatic writing, as I explain on The Oahspe Bible – received the content through automatic writing. These are the pages where I wrote about the Kosmon era.
The dawn of kosmon
In Book of Es, Daughter of Jehovih, Oahspe presents itself as a heavenly history of the earth down to the dawn of the kosmon era, when the great serpent, the solar phalanx, carried the earth into the light of the Arc of Kosmon. In BOOK OF JEHOVIH Jehovih says that when the earth is inhabited and the nations have established civil communion from east to west, he will bring the earth into the kosmon era, and his angel ambassadors will render up the records of the heavenly kingdoms. Book of Knowledge has Jehovih declare the beginning of the reign of Kosmon, the beginning of the wisdom of the earth.
What kosmon brings
First Book of God has the Creator tell Eawahtah that when he comes in kosmon his people will have many states, and their combination will be called Union, signifying one. The Book of Judgment says that early in the kosmon era many will be gifted to heal by laying on of hands.
Counting from kosmon
Oahspe dates its cycles backwards from the present era. The Book of Saphah counts 3,400 years from kosmon back to Moses and Capilya. The table on Timeline OAHSPE Bible sets the start of Kosmon at 1848 CE, in its 33rd year in 1881, while Cycles of Gods ties its start to the transcription of Oahspe in 1880 to 1882 and reads it as a shift toward global spiritual unity.
