On March 17, 2019, Robert Nelson performed a channeling session. He claimed to be channeling a son from a past life in Atlantis. This son, named Yurid, was a magician who worked for the government of Atlantis.
Life of Yurid in Atlantis
According to Nelson, Yurid lived approximately 11,000 to 12,000 years ago, during the final phase of what is referred to as Atlantis.
Nelson stated that in this past life, he was murdered two months before Yurid was born. Yurid’s mother passed away when he was in his early teens, and he was later trained in magic by another wizard. Nelson also shared that he met Yurid’s former teacher in his current life, describing him as a man who ran a gym and rock store.
Nelson first encountered Yurid in a meditation session in the late 1970s. He described seeing a blond man in a black outfit making strange gestures. Although Nelson didn’t immediately recognize him, he eventually realized this was Yurid. During another meditation, he claimed to have received Yurid’s name in a cryptic way.
Yurid’s Role in Atlantis
Yurid was presented with a choice: to serve the Atlantean government as a sorcerer, performing duties such as defense and espionage, or to become a subject of government experiments.
Yurid chose the former. Nelson explained that the perception of Atlantis, often romanticized in popular culture, was not entirely accurate. According to Yurid, Atlantis had its flaws and was not the utopia many imagine.
Yurid reportedly began communicating through Nelson, explaining his background and sharing some words in what Nelson described as the Atlantean language.
Yurid’s work involved using his abilities to protect Atlantis from external threats. He mentioned that some Atlantean government officials had intended to conquer North Africa, but Yurid refused to take part in the campaign, believing it would have been an unjust and one-sided conflict.
Geography and History of Atlantis
Yurid explained that the land of Atlantis was not a singular place, but rather a collection of islands spread across what is now the North Atlantic.
He identified some of these islands as being located in areas such as the Caribbean and near the Azores, which are part of modern-day Portugal.
Nelson added that many ancient civilizations, including the Atlanteans, were said to have been influenced by extraterrestrial beings, referred to as gods in ancient times.
Yurid described how Atlantean culture, which began as a “beneficent culture,” eventually became corrupted.
He also mentioned other beings, described as reptilian in nature, who had interactions with the people of Atlantis. He warned that misconceptions about Atlantis persisted, particularly the Greek version of the story, which he claimed was incomplete and altered.
Atlantean Decline and Legacy
Nelson continued to describe Yurid’s role in defending Atlantis using his magical abilities. Yurid claimed to have repelled threats from ships arriving both from the sea and from otherworldly sources.
He also engaged in remote viewing, which allowed him to observe events in other countries and follow the movements of Atlantean ships in foreign ports.
Despite his service, Yurid ultimately distanced himself from the government when it sought to launch an aggressive campaign in North Africa.
Yurid expressed a complex understanding of Atlantis’ eventual downfall.
He mentioned that while parts of Atlantis were submerged by water, the empire had spread to many different regions, much like the global empires of modern times.
Conclusion
As Nelson channeled Yurid, they discussed the geography, history, and culture of Atlantis, touching on topics such as extraterrestrial influence, political corruption, and the empire’s decline. Nelson concluded the session, stating that he would continue the discussion in a future channeling session.
