The Council of Nine

The Council of Nine keeps returning in my research from different directions: a book of channeled sessions from the 1970s and 1980s, a survey of galactic councils, and a series of recent trance sessions on video. Here I bring together what the site already holds about them, and who says what.

The Only Planet of Choice

The main source is Phyllis Schlemmer’s book, reviewed chapter by chapter on The Only Planet of Choice (1993), Chapter by Chapter. The publisher’s synopsis quoted there calls the work the result of 20 years of psychic communications with the Council of Nine, the Elohim or Aeons. The Nine speak through Schlemmer, and their spokesman is a being who calls himself Tom. On Thoth: High Priest of Atlantis and worshipped as a god in Egypt the page quotes him:

The review page sums up what Tom says about them: the Nine are not physical and they are not God, below them stand the Twenty-Four, and Andrija Puharich came across the Council of Nine in the early 1950s. It also records that in trance Schlemmer saw the Nine as old men.

Not God, in service to the Creator

On Elohim: The powerful ones, the divine ones, exalted spiritual beings the Nine are quoted on their own place:

The Hierarchy of YHWH follows the same chain: the Creator at the top, the Nine serving the Creator, and Jehovah as Hoova heading one civilization of the Twenty-Four. On The Creator, Human Gods, Gods from the Stars Tom’s definition of God from the same book is quoted.

Altea, Hoova and Atlantis

On Michael E. Salla, Galactic Federations, Councils & Secret Space Programs (2022), His Findings Salla prints, in Chapter 5, a Council of Nine passage in which Altea is the head of Atlantis and Hoova is the civilization of the Hebrews. The book page Galactic Federations, Councils & Secret Space Programs puts it the same way: the Council of Nine, through Phyllis Schlemmer, makes Altea the head of the civilization that manifested as Atlantis.

A different line comes from Pamela Aaralyn, who presents herself as the voice of the Galactic Council of Nine. On Trance Channeling the Galactic Council of 9 – An Important World Prediction for the 11/11 Portal 2024 the summary has the Council describe themselves as ambassadors and guardians of Earth’s ascension and predict a portal opening on November 11, 2024. Channeling the Galactic Council of 9 is her session on the Atlantean-Lemurian war and the flood around 11,000 BC. In Eight pylons under Giza as a channeling she speaks for the council about the Great Pyramid:

She also brings the Galactic Council of Nine into Election Predictions. I have not found anything on the site that ties her Galactic Council of Nine to the Nine of Schlemmer’s book, so I keep the two apart.

A skeptical listener

On The Nine and gaps in the fossil story the summary describes how Library of the Untold presents the Council of Nine and a federation of twenty-four cultures as channeling, met at first with doubt, and sets their account of nine formless powers and twenty-four seeders next to the open questions of the fossil record.
