There is One Great Person, Egoquim, Creator and Ruler over all in heaven and earth. Him alone shall you serve, worship, and love above all else.
The First Law of Egoquim
You shall have Egoquim as your only God. No other god, lord, idol, man, or angel shall you worship, forever. Love Him above all things in the heavens, on the earth, or in the waters below. Teach this to your children, commanding them to teach it to their children, and so on, forever. Swear against all false gods, lords, and idols, vowing never to serve them—and pass this oath to your children, and their children, forever.
The Second Law of Egoquim
You shall treat all men, women, and children with the same justice and kindness you would show your own mother, who nursed you when you were helpless. Teach this to your children, and to their children after them, forever.
The Third Law of Egoquim
To the sick, the helpless, the stranger from afar, the destitute widow, and the fatherless child, you shall be both father and mother. Welcome them into your home, feed them, clothe them with skins and cloth, and if they are lost, guide them on their way. Command this to your children, and to their children after them, forever.
The Fourth Law of Egoquim
You shall not lie, nor speak falsely against any man, woman, or child, nor break your word of promise—even if death threatens you to do otherwise. Your word shall be as unchangeable as the rising and setting sun. Command this to your children, and to their children after them, forever.
The Fifth Law of Egoquim
You shall not take or possess what belongs to another, nor allow your children to do so, nor their children after them, forever.
The Sixth Law of Egoquim
You shall honor the times of woman. When she bears a child, do not lie with her, burden her with heavy labor, speak angry words, or trouble her. Instead, obey her wishes, for it is her time, and she is your queen. Teach this to your young men and women, and to their descendants forever, for their children are begotten of Me, and I will have them strong, shapely, and brave.
The Seventh Law of Egoquim
You shall labor six days, but the seventh day is the moon’s day, sacred to your Creator. On that day, do not work, hunt, or fish. Instead, go to My altar, dance and sing before Me, and sit in silence to hear My words spoken into the souls of men, women, and children. Teach this to your children, and to their children after them, forever.
The Eighth Law of Egoquim
You shall restore the rites and ceremonies of Choe-pan and Annubia-pan as I command, but you shall not flatten the head to make a seer, a Haonga, driving judgment from the brain to the prophetic regions. Teach this to your children, and to their children after them, forever.
