Midgard is the middle world of Norse myth, the home of humans between the realms of frost and fire, with Asgard above it. These are the pages where it comes up.
Between frost and fire
On Is Wotan the Same as Odin? Ignatius Donnelly places the home of the Norse gods on Midgard:
He dwelt with the twelve Æsir, or gods, upon Asgard, the Norse Olympus, which arose out of Midgard, a land half-way between the regions of frost and fire (to wit, in a temperate climate).
Ignatius Donnelly, Atlantis: The Antediluvian World

Donnelly goes on to say the Scandinavian Olympus was probably Atlantis. The same chapter is on The God Odi, Woden, or Wotan, and on Asgard: Home of the Æsir and Donnelly’s Norse Atlantis I follow the home of the gods that rose above Midgard. On The Secret of Plato’s Atlantis (1885) Arundell answers that the burden is on Donnelly to show that Meru, Olympos, Elysium, Asgard and Midgard centred on Atlantis.
Made from a giant
On Ymir and the creation of the world the gods create Midgard, the world of humans, and use an eyebrow of Ymir for its protective barrier. On The Olympian Gods the war of the Æsir, led by Odin, against the older giants ends in the creation of Midgard, a world inhabited by gods and humans.
Defended by Thor
On Ancient wars Thor battles frost and fire giants to protect Asgard and Midgard, and on Thor (Etherean God) the Thor of Oahspe is compared with that Norse defender. On Ragnarok: The Age of Fire and Gravel (1883) Donnelly reads the Midgard serpent as a comet whose approach sends the sea over the earth.
