Homo erectus keeps turning up on this site because it sits right at the point where the mainstream story of human evolution and the paleo-contact story split. In one it is an early human that slowly gave way to Homo sapiens. In the other it is the raw material that the Anunnaki or the Anu worked on. I collected the passages here.
The fossil record
Human lifespan declines gives the mainstream picture: Homo erectus lived from around 1.9 million to 70,000 years ago, and fossil studies suggest a lifespan of around 30 to 40 years, much like the Neanderthals. 3000 BC: Notes and References records the last stands of Homo erectus on Java, and of the Neanderthals in Spain, around 30,000 BC.
Where the key steps happened is less certain than it looks. In the video A Key Period in Human Evolution Wasn’t in Africa – David Reich, Reich says it is uncertain where human evolution took place during the period when Homo habilis, Homo erectus and Homo heidelbergensis evolved. The video Forbidden Archeology, with Michael Cremo, goes back to 1892, when Eugene Dubois found “Java Man” in Indonesia. That fossil was treated as the missing link, and afterwards evidence of older human presence was rejected or reinterpreted to fit Darwin’s framework.
In Atlantis, Fallen Angels, and Archaic DNA, Robert Sepehr contrasts the hominins: Homo erectus stayed hunter-gatherers for millions of years, with no evidence of advanced tools, seafaring or civilization.
Raw material for Adam
The paleo-contact sources start from that same species. Jim Marrs, summarizing the Sumerian story on Sumer: The First Known Civilization, describes the moment Enki proposes a worker:
Enki pointed out that a primitive humanoid—what we call Homo erectus or a closely related hominid—was quite prevalent in Abzu (Africa), where he maintained a laboratory.
Jim Marrs, Our Occulted History
Bashar, channeled by Darryl Anka, tells a similar story. On The Adam race I summarize it: the Anu mixed their genes with the natural humanoid on Earth, Homo erectus or Homo habilis, around 300,000 to 500,000 years ago, and Homo sapiens was the result. Adam and Who Are the Anunnaki? carry the same claim, and the video What Really Happened in the Garden of Eden? adds that the snake in Eden stands for knowledge about DNA. On Genesis 3 – The birth chamber, the male prototype is called Adama and the female Eva, and the work takes decades or even centuries in laboratories with the main one in the Middle East.
The three ages
On The structure of the Stone-, Bronze- and Iron Age, is used by archaeologists and historians I place Homo erectus in the Paleolithic, and explain why I think the three-age system does not work.
