Emotional and mental healing

Physical and emotional pain

There are two kinds of pain.

The first is injury to the body, such as putting your hand in a fire, which is purely physical pain.

Then there is emotional pain, which first reveals itself physically. Examples are migraines, back problems, unexplained fevers, digestive problems, and others. These come and go. Even though they manifest as physical pain, they are usually denied emotional pain. How do you deal with that?

So much emotional pain on Earth shows up as physical pain. People do not connect physical pain with emotional pain, so they take drugs. It numbs the physical condition, but the energy of the repressed emotion is still there. Even the symptoms can change.

When you encounter the pain, it is easy to think you have done something wrong or that a “negative entity” is causing it, but that is not true. It is simply unhealed, unresolved energy — you could call it shadow energy — that you must integrate in your consciousness before you can go deeper into the quantum states of consciousness.

The paradox is that in order to heal the fear of pain, you have to actually go into the pain.

Teaching in Atlantean times

The teaching began with the simplest of lessons: recognising emotions as energy rather than identity.

Through these exercises, children discovered that emotion was not a force acting upon them but a field they interacted with. This understanding alone transformed their entire relationship with inner experience.

Raphael Ogwuda-Zernoff

It is when we become busy and spend too much time thinking that we disconnect from our true selves. The early Atlanteans lived peaceful, contemplative, harmonious lives, which kept their connections to the spiritual world pure and their right brains open. They also spent all day outside, in nature – at one with All That Is since nature and the Divine are connected.

Emotions

Exploring emotions

Some creator gods created life just to have it take care of them or meet their needs. They have fed off your emotions. One of the big secrets that has been kept from you as a species is the richness and wealth that accompanies emotion. You have been steered away from exploring emotion because through emotion you can figure things out. Your emotions connect you with the spiritual body. The spiritual body, of course, is nonphysical, existing on the multidimensional sphere.

Highly charged reactions

Emotions are the indicators of where we are in relation to our growth with different aspects of ourselves. If you have a highly charged reaction to something, you can be assured it is an issue you need to look at more closely. The world around us acts as a mirror to show us what we need to work on for our own personal/soul growth.

Teaching emotions

The emotions that have the most to teach us are: anger, hate, fear, jealousy, disgust, impatience, shame, pride, pity, indignation, envy, worry, guilt. These are many times referred to as negative emotions, but I think that gives them a less constructive aspect, so I will call them the teaching emotions.

Fear

Fear is lack of trust: in oneself, those around us and the world at large. So maybe the lesson we are trying to teach ourselves is to trust. Trust the universe, but ultimately, trust ourselves.

Self Observance

A really important key for humanity right now is to observe the emotional body. This is because most humans push down emotions, a tendency that comes from other members of your galactic family. Humans experience emotional pressure in the unconscious from all the repressed emotions you have pushed down for generations. The unconscious continues to repress these emotions as a protection mechanism from emotional pain. But that emotional energy has to come out somehow, and it very often does so as disease or mental illness. If we were to say what the most important thing is for humans right now, it is to start reconnecting your severed ties to the emotional body and learn to experience emotions in a fluid way. This is necessary to move to the next step of human evolution. Self-observation means watching — from a place of nonjudgment and allowance — your behavior patterns, thoughts, and emotions that arise on a daily basis. Seeing and owning your destructive behavior patterns is the first step toward freeing yourself from the obstacles that sabotage your happiness and peace of mind. You begin to see where your compulsion to judge others originates: You see traits in others that you fear in yourself.

Emotional guidance system

We can be very thankful to emotions, as they are our guidance system through life as well as through growth. This emotional guidance system is in our solar plexus and allows us to feel the impact of our choices. We CHOOSE how we react to things.

Soul Speak

No right or wrong emotion

Please understand there is no right or wrong emotion just as there is no right or wrong way to handle an emotion. I think that is where many of us undermine and guilt ourselves into situations we’d rather not be in. We think we should act or feel a certain way, and when we don’t, we are in need of repair. Something is wrong with us. Emotions are what make us different from every other being in the cosmos. We chose to be here now to have these experiences for our own accelerated growth. When we took on game board or assignment Earth, we came to learn emotions and limitations. Emotions are the main way for us to know how we are doing.

Soul Speak

Acknowledge the emotion

The other extreme is a world of people playing off each others emotions and continually escalating and building on the energy of the emotions. This creates a world of drama that is constantly self-perpetuating. Either extreme is not going to help. I feel it is important to see the emotions for the wonderful tools that they are and work with them. The next step is to acknowledge the emotion. That is what makes having emotions different from emotions having you. I think because we are afraid of what might be behind the emotion, we unconsciously either don’t acknowledge it or push it down and cover it up hoping it will just go away.

Pay attention to your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors

Pay attention to your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. They always reflect beliefs you hold as true.

If an action feels like anxiety rather than excitement, it comes from misalignment or a negative belief. Identify the belief honestly, release it, and replace it with what is true for you.

Exploring negative beliefs frees you. Suppressing them makes them return stronger. Facing them is the path of least resistance.

Events are neutral. The meaning you assign determines the effect you experience. Proof of inner change is a different response to the same outer circumstances—not necessarily a changed outer world.

By living in positive alignment, you become an example that others can choose positive effects in their own lives.

Addictions

The most insidious addictions is focusing on the external as a way to avoid the internal. That is one of the most significant addictions you must break, and it is one of the most challenging to heal. The truth is that looking over here is a reflection.

The Golden Lake

Self-judgment is the problem

As many of your ancestors learned, too much spiritual discipline just creates more suffering. So a middle road is important. Attachment isn’t really the problem; self-judgment is the problem, because it empowers the anchor. As you become aware of this process and learn to navigate the layers, you will find yourself spending longer periods resting in the state of nonduality.

The Golden lake

Instead of a balanced expression of the duality of the universe, they focused on the mind, deluding themselves into thinking it was a true spiritual path. They believed perfection of the mind and eradication of emotions would bring them spiritual perfection. Their beliefs about the role of emotions were flawed, and this split widened over generations. When we talk about emotions, we include the capacity of the heart to love. If you push down negative emotions, you also push down the heart’s capacity to love.

Learn to watch yourself speaking or silent. Learn to watch yourself with no judgment. Learn to watch and self-correct by determining how you would like to be versus how you are. Learn to quiet your mind.

Processing

Human beings tend to love their dramas so much that they can get lost in the process of processing. Processing can become a way of life. This is not useful. It is not “cool” to always be processing and saying to people, “Don’t call me, I’m processing. I’m deep in my stuff. I can’t figure it out.” Yes, your personal dramas need to be examined. Yes, your personal dramas are a banquet of nourishment for yourself.

But, eat the food and get on with life and make yourself another banquet. Quit holding onto these gems of your past and being so frightened that if you resolve these issues you will never have anything else exciting come up again in your lives. It is good to put processing in perspective.

This fragment continues the same teaching series. It addresses a common pattern: becoming overly attached to emotional processing and personal drama. The core point is direct—examine issues, learn from them, but do not let processing become a lifestyle or identity. Resolve what needs resolution, nourish yourself, then move forward to create new experiences. The message urges balance: use drama as food for growth, not as an endless cycle.

In the wrong place

It is impossible for you to ever be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The universe makes no mistakes. The ego sometimes asks this question when it really wants to ask, “How can I only be in the place I always want to be?” There is a misunderstanding that when something good happens, you are in the right place, and when something bad happens, you are in the wrong place. That is only ego perception. You can never be in the wrong place. Even when you are in a place of indecision, that place of indecision is the right place, because you might need that rest period between actions. The ego cannot ever control things. One of the symptoms of your ongoing awakening process is when you perceive and accept that you are always where you need to be in every moment and relax with that truth.

Fear

Do not feel that fear is bad

We will say to you very honestly that fear will always play a part in your evolutionary process, so get used to it. Do not feel that fear is bad. When you succumb to your fears and allow yourself to buy into them, then you must cycle through them and experience all you feel so that you can overcome them. Begin to say, “I will transmute this fear. I will understand that it is part of the plan. I will understand that it can serve me.” Remember, your power and your ability to create reality through your will ends where your fear begins. And we will tell you—life is meeting fear. Begin to look at the events of your life and how you create them. Understand that you always create them to serve you. You are trained for this. You are coded for this.

Bringers of the Dawn

I have a choice about how I look at my fears. Instead of self-righteously clinging to them by blaming others or avoiding them by retreating into numb isolation, I learned how to face my suffering directly with honesty and mercy. As would a mother with a crying child, I found that I could transform what I most feared by bringing it close to my heart with gentleness and compassion. I found great relief when I embraced my anger, anxiety and jealousy within my own mind, instead of acting out in defensive ways that caused my inner burden to feel heavier and my life more lonely.

Compassion

One must validate and integrate the negative as well as the positive for healing to occur. Healing is a form of alchemy that relies on this integration. It is the key. How, then, do you work on this healing process? You go into the emotional body and fully experience what is there. As a starting point, you allow yourself two main things:

Service to self/service to others

First, let us look at the spectrum for service to others, which you can see in table 5.1. On the left end (#1) is the pole of sacrifice. This represents those who sacrifice their souls or lives for others. People often do this for loved ones. But this pole on the left represents a type of sacrifice that most humans don’t do, and as noble as it sounds, it is not healthy for normal human beings. The few beings at the far end of this spectrum are either fully awakened, such as masters, or robots.

The middle point represents where you authentically give service but don’t sacrifice yourself.

The middle point is experiencing self-love that is not indulgent and is fully balanced, without guilt.

Eliminate the words should and trying from your vocabulary

Eliminate the words should and trying from your vocabulary. If you were to pay money every time you say these words, you would be in great debt. You are in a great debt of disempowerment or impotence. Should implies that you are operating under someone else’s sovereignty. We would like to remind you that you are sovereign unto yourself.
