Embedding crystals

I became quite skilled in providing exactly the right space for various therapies in terms of the sound and light input, embedding crystals in the structure and using advanced geometrics. On Sirius it was all much more advanced and there was almost an architectural manual for every kind of building, but in Atlantis we were much more free to experiment. Sometimes the free experimentation, especially by technologists pursuing some scientific theory, went too far, and I felt we would have been more careful on Sirius, but I did enjoy the freedom to develop in any way that seemed interesting and fruitful.

The houses need to sit well in the landscape

S: The siting of a house in the landscape is important. The Earth tells us where she would wish the house to be. I have a skill in tuning in to where the house should be in relation to the landscape. The houses need to sit well in the landscape and be accepted by it, become part of it.

Capture the sun’s energy

We heat our houses with units that capture the sun’s energy and intensify it through a crystal grid, and we use a similar system for cooking.

Round or oblong houses built in natural materials

In the golden times, the inhabitants of Atlantis, including the priests, were home-loving, family-orientated people.

Their houses were simple: round or oblong and built in natural materials.

Feng shui, or geomancy, was practised and so everything was curved or rounded, which was believed to be more harmonious to the human spirit and a better channel for the energy of the universe. Soft shapes also honoured the feminine principles of gentleness, caring and inclusiveness. Each family had their own home, but work was communal. Of course, in the earliest days when everyone was single, each house was a basic one-room dwelling, for the immediate aim was to provide everyone with shelter.

During the next phase, they considered longer-term needs. At this point, they started to build two-storey homes in which the living space was downstairs and the bedrooms were upstairs.

The sleeping rooms were partitioned areas without doors. Some people reached the upper rooms by teleportation, though not everyone could do this. Most preferred to climb up, since there were always ladders, and people tended to do as much as they possibly could, physically, because they realised they were here to experience life in a body.

Furthermore, it takes more energy to teleport than to walk up steps.

Energy Dome

The Intergalactic Council was aware of everything taking place within Atlantis and beyond. It wanted the conditions of the special experiment to be controlled and unique. So a vast umbrella of pure, high-frequency energy was placed over the continent, creating a biosphere within which elements and atmosphere could be controlled.

One of its original functions was to regulate the weather over the five islands. Its power was such that there were no earthquakes and any storms remained outside the dome.

The Intergalactic Council could change the frequency of any part of the system to allow rain to fall in measured amounts in different places.

Perfect local eco-climates were created for each area. The energy dome also acted as a protective bubble, for Atlantis was deliberately set apart from the rest of the world and had no communication with it. From the outer world, no one could sail through the invisible barrier into the islands and it was so programmed that if an Atlantean went near the boundary he would instinctively turn back.

Of course, this meant that the spiritual technology available on Atlantis was not accessible to the other cultures on Earth. It is this which renders Atlantis so extraordinary.

Concentric rings of homes

A temple was built on elevated ground in the centre of every town, for it was the focus of the community. Geomancy was considered important, so this special building was always the tallest and housed the master crystal for the region. These sacred buildings were round and painted with uplifting murals in glorious colours.

The windows were of quartz crystal, which was plentiful and served to make the holy places even more special as ordinary houses had no windows.

All the elements were represented within the place of worship and oriented as the Native Americans still do: north for air, south for water, east for fire and west for earth.

Only crystals were used to decorate the holy temples. These were placed in certain configurations, depending on the energy the High Priest or Priestess was trying to create for the community.

Water was spiritually vital, so there were fountains inside the temple and the main building itself was surrounded by a canal.

Beyond this was constructed a ring of houses, then another circle of running water, then another of dwellings, and so on, so their towns were built in concentric rings of homes, water, homes, water. The water was kept clean and pure and was used for recreation and bathing.

Later, as commerce and profit entered the consciousness of Atlanteans, boatmen carried goods and plied their trades along these canals.

Naturally, when the communities were first designed and built, the homes were spaced well apart, amid tracts of greenery and clumps of trees.

Atlanteans considered the circle a symbol for understanding life’s mysteries. The Earth is round, as are the sun, moon and planets. The rising and setting of the sun follows a circular motion; seasons form a circle; birds build round nests; animals mark their territories in circles. For this reason, the Atlanteans built circular homes.

Consciousness-responsive buildings

The creation of consciousness-responsive buildings began with the Atlanteans’ deep understanding of geometry. They knew that certain shapes amplified coherence while others diffused or scattered it. They understood the energetic differences between curves and angles, between verticality and horizontality, between open spaces and enclosed chambers.

The brilliance of Atlantean consciousness-responsive architecture lay in its harmony with life. These buildings were not machines. They did not exert control. They offered guidance. They reflected the truth of the moment. They amplified what was healthy and softened what was imbalanced. They functioned as allies in the refinement of consciousness. People did not merely inhabit them; they engaged in relationship with them.

In Atlantis, the built environment was not separate from the inner world. It was a partner in awakening. Through these buildings, the Atlanteans created a civilisation where daily life supported emotional balance, intuitive clarity and the expansion of the mind. Their architecture became a living expression of their belief that consciousness was the true architect of reality.
