There were symbols that the Trois, the San, and the Khoikhoi used, which morphed into the Cushites' system, and then the Cushites' system morphed into that of Kemet.

When Kemet came into existence around 4240 BCE, the system was already being used.

The same ancestors who founded Kemet also founded Mesopotamia.
