His students witnessed the event, but none could explain it. He felt weak afterward and attributed it to the energy required for levitation.
2. Wasp Control:
   In another incident, a wasp flew into the classroom. Nelson directed it out of the same window it had entered. One of the students asked if he was a warlock or a witch, to which Nelson responded that he was not, as revealing his true identity would have caused issues.

Teaching at the Sheltered Workshop

Nelson moved on to teach at a sheltered workshop for mentally handicapped adults. This was a fulfilling period for him, and he recalls several strange and amusing occurrences during his time there.

1. Walking on Water:
   After a rainstorm, Nelson decided to walk across a large puddle. For a few moments, it felt as though the water was solid beneath his feet, allowing him to walk across without getting wet. However, when he tried again, he sank into the puddle. His students commented on his soaked condition afterward.
2. Lightning Strike:
   Nelson briefly references an incident where he was struck by lightning, which he had mentioned in a previous session.

John Boy the Dog

Around this time, Nelson adopted a dog named John Boy from the SPCA. This dog bore a striking resemblance to his previous dog, Tiger, leading him to believe it was Tiger reincarnated. Nelson explains that animals, like humans, can reincarnate, sometimes during the same lifetime.

1. Presidential Preferences:
   John Boy exhibited a clear preference for George Bush Sr. over the other candidates during the 1991 presidential election. He would wag his tail when Bush appeared on TV and show disdain for the other candidates. Nelson humorously recalls how John Boy’s mood changed when it became clear that Bill Clinton would win the election.
2. Pizza and Political Discussions:
   Nelson describes how he and John Boy shared pizza while watching the election results, noting the dog’s clear political preferences.

Course in Miracles and Automatic Writing

In the early 1980s, Nelson began studying A Course in Miracles, a spiritual and metaphysical course that he highly recommends. During this period, he also experienced automatic writing, where he felt compelled to write messages through an external influence.

1. 1982 Writing Experience:
   Nelson describes feeling a strong presence that would inspire him to write in a style that was not his own. He initially resisted this process but eventually allowed it to happen. After some time, he decided to stop due to the overwhelming difference in feeling between his normal state and the state he entered during the writing.
2. 1985 Warning from Michael:
   In 1985, Nelson received a warning from the Archangel Michael, who told him that something significant was about to happen. Michael predicted the discovery of a white dwarf star, which was confirmed shortly after Nelson heard the message.

Channeling and Spiritual Growth

Nelson recounts an experience with a friend who encouraged him to continue channeling messages from spiritual beings, particularly the Archangel Michael. Initially resistant, Nelson eventually gave in and began channeling again.

1. Channeling Michael:
   During one session, Michael answered the friend’s questions even before they were asked. Nelson’s friend was deeply affected by the experience, which lasted for two hours.
2. The Keys Project:
   Nelson and his friend spent three months working on a project called Keys, originally titled Keys: Love Letters from God, which provided practical guidance on spiritual and personal growth. Initially, Nelson transcribed messages through automatic writing, but his friend encouraged him to allow the messages to be spoken aloud. Nelson reluctantly agreed, and the project progressed in this manner.
