On The Gosslings, Gary Wayne is asked whether Nimrod comes back. He answers from Genesis and prophecy, not with a date. A future antichrist, he says, is not the Word becoming flesh. Some expect a spirit to enter a living person, and he calls that a counterfeit. First must come a Babylon that is city, market, and mystery cult. Ten kings take its power, then destroy it, and the antichrist installs a god the ancestors never worshipped, open honor of himself and of Satan. That cult, Wayne says, is what Nimrod restored within about a century of the flood, from pre-flood Enochian mysticism. Hermes recovered forbidden books, and Nimrod used them in Shinar. Babel is less confused speech than a gateway toward powers locked in the abyss. Nimrod stays in Sumer, keeps the cult, and forms the Magi. Pressed about a new Nimrod, Wayne points to Jerusalem and the fig-tree generation. He also says Nimrod grew gibbor-like and that the famous cities were older ruins he repaired.
