As Above So Below reads an old argument that makes Nimrod, Saturn, and Osiris one figure, then ties him to masonry. From Genesis, Nimrod is Noah’s descendant through Cush, a mighty hunter whose realm included Babel. Kronos, taken as Saturn, is Babylon’s first king, worshipped eastward as Bel and Bal, and Nimrod is called king of the tower-building Cyclopes. The zodiac archer is set beside a crowned horseman in Revelation. Alexander Hislop supplies the harder claim. Horned Kronos is Nimrod the hunter and the first centaur, and Nimrod is named the earliest masonic grand master, a god of fortifications. Osiris joins that identity. On the Cross of Kells, two centaurs are read as the horned god, linked with Osiris, and as the archer. At Cormac’s temple a local story makes the centaur the master builder. A lion undid by night what the day had raised, until an arrow stopped him. The channel treats the legend as a memory of Nimrod and the Cyclopes as builders.
