The Titanomachy, recounted in Hesiod's Theogony, was a ten-year war in which Zeus and his Olympian siblings overthrew the elder Titans, ruled by Cronus from Mount Othrys.

Zeus (Jupiter in Roman mythology), spared by his mother Rhea, rallied his siblings, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon, and overthrew Cronus, imprisoning the Titans in Tartarus.

We all know of these ideas, like for example in Greece, the idea of Kronos.
Kronos was the god of time, and he had all his kids through dividing the parts of his body.
They were living beings from the suns and living beings from gas planets like Jupiter, Saturn.
If we recall what we have learned about the conditions of evolution in periods prior to the existence of our Earth circumstances, we can picture that what later became our solar system was all contained in a planetary existence which we call ancient Saturn.
And we keep very firmly in mind that ancient Saturn consisted solely of the interweaving movement of warmth.
As to Saturn's state of warmth, let me once more draw attention to several observations in my book titled "An Outline of Esoteric Science," which may even help to satisfy those who are prompted by their scientific training to make objections.
In ancient Saturn, then, there was an interweaving of varying states of warmth.
According to Genesis, there is a repetition within the developing Earth of this ancient Saturn state: this interweaving of warmth, of fire.
But note well in what way we speak of warmth or fire in connection with such an exalted condition as that of ancient Saturn.
Feel yourself as a warmth-bearing being, and this feeling of your own warmth, this experience of your own soul warmth, will give you a rough idea of the interweaving warmth in ancient Saturn.
In the coming into being of our Earth, we should expect to find a repetition of the old Saturn condition; in other words, we should expect to find Saturn warmth as the expression of soul-spiritual forces.
With the words "The Spirit of God radiated as a brooding warmth over the elements of the water," you have an indication of the recapitulation of the warmth of ancient Saturn.
I can assure you that when in my "An Outline of Esoteric Science" I was describing the way the Earth came into existence as a recapitulation of ancient Saturn, ancient Sun, and ancient Moon, I quite deliberately and scrupulously ignored anything which could have been found in Genesis.
We know from what has been presented over the years that during the ancient Saturn evolution, the Archai, the Spirits of Personality, were at the human stage—the stage which we are at now.
Thus they are lofty spiritual beings who had already advanced beyond the human stage when our planetary existence began on ancient Saturn.
Let us remind ourselves again that the Elohim are highly exalted beings who, at the time of the ancient Saturn evolution, had already progressed beyond the human stage.
They were among the beings creating and regulating evolution during the stages of ancient Saturn, Sun, and Moon, and they also contributed to Earth existence.
The reign of Cronos, who is the divine ruler (Laws), is a reminiscence of the Statesman.
Of this kingdom of Cronos there is also mention in the Laws.
Cronos, then lord of the world, knew that no mortal nature could endure the temptations of power, and therefore he appointed demons or demi-gods, who are of a superior race, to have dominion over man, as man has dominion over the animals.
This was the manner of life which prevailed under Cronos, and which we must strive to follow so far as the principle of immortality still abides in us and we live according to law and the dictates of right reason.
The reign of Cronos has passed away, and various forms of government have succeeded, which are all based on self-interest and self-preservation.
ATHENIAN: In the primeval world, and a long while before the cities came into being whose settlements we have described, there is said to have been in the time of Cronos a blessed rule and life, of which the best-ordered of existing states is a copy (compare Statesman).
And of this the reason is said to have been as follows:—Cronos knew what we ourselves were declaring, that no human nature invested with supreme power is able to order human affairs and not overflow with insolence and wrong.
Still we must do all that we can to imitate the life which is said to have existed in the days of Cronos, and, as far as the principle of immortality dwells in us, to that we must hearken, both in private and public life, and regulate our cities and houses according to law, meaning by the very term 'law,' the distribution of mind.
These individuals were able to perceive higher spiritual beings associated with celestial bodies such as Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and especially the Sun.
