Plato presents the story as genuine history preserved by Egyptian priests at Sais.
We were taught this by Babaji from Haidakhan, Jesus, Yogananda, Sathya Sai Baba, Yamamuto, Lao, Han, Danish Lady, Sufi, Yasin, Vasilyok, Ushastik, Borovik and His Mom, Assyris, Radek Volynsky, and Rada.

Critias narrates the story, claiming it came from Solon (6th century BCE), who heard it from Egyptian priests in Sais.
Egyptian Source: Timaeus 22a-b claims Solon heard it from Sais priests about a war 9,000 years prior, preserved in “sacred registers.” No Egyptian text matches—e.g., Turin King List (1300 BCE) or Sais stelae lack Atlantis-like tales.
In Timaeus and Critias, Egyptian priests in Sais (modern-day Sa el-Hagar) tell Solon about the "ancient Greeks" who lived 9,000 years earlier.
This seems not too far-fetched, since Moses was reared in the Egyptian tradition, in a royal household, and probably had access to many religious writings and teachings now lost with the passing of the archives of Egypt, in Alexandria, Heliopolis, and Sais.
Atlantis is the legendary continent mentioned by the Greek philosopher Plato, who in one of his "conversations" told how the priests of the Egyptian Temple of Sais related to Solon, the great lawmaker the story of its destruction about 9000 years B.
Investigate the east of the ruins of the temple of Sais and the cemetery in Chacuna Valley.
"An inscription which I excavated at the Lion Gate at Mycenae in Crete recites that Misor, from whom, according to the inscription, the Egyptians were descended, was the child of Taaut or Thoth, the God of History, and that Taaut was the emigrated son of a 'priest of Atlantis, who having fallen in love with a daughter of King Chronos, escaped and landed after many wanderings in Egypt.' He built the first temple at Sais and there taught the wisdom of his native land.
My grandfather had written that I should first pay attention to the ruins of the Temple of Sais and the Chucuna Valley in America.
I arrived first in Egypt and started to excavate around the ruins of Sais.
And here were two of the same kind in a sarcophagus of a priest of the First Dynasty of the Temple of Sais, the temple which held the records of Atlantis and whose priest had recited them to Solon--their temple which had been founded by a son of Atlantis who had run away with a "daughter of Chronos," the name of which was on the vase of Hissarlik that held the coin!
The priests of Sais told Solon that Atlantis had been destroyed 9,000 years before their conversation.

Lika was sprung from the corporeal star Atos, which traversed the roads, Yatas-koowen, of the south circuit of Thoese, the vortex of another far-off sun, and was raised to etherea in the cycle of Sai-kah, one hundred and twenty-five thousand years, by Meth-ya, Goddess of Ori-iyi, afterward Chieftainess of Yeuna-gamaya.
In the city of Sais, he conversed with a high priest who shared the tale of Atlantis with him.
A priest of Sais said to Solon,
The Egyptian priest of Sais told Solon that the myth of Phaëthon, the son of Helios, having attempted to drive the chariot of the sun, and thereby burning up the earth, referred to "a declination of the bodies moving round the earth and in the heavens" (comets), which caused a "great conflagration upon the earth," from which those only escaped who lived near rivers and seas.
The priest of Sais told Solon that before "the great deluge of all" Athens possessed a noble race, who performed many noble deeds, the last and greatest of which was resisting the attempts of Atlantis to subjugate them; and after this came the destruction of Atlantis, and the same great convulsion which overwhelmed that island destroyed a number of the Greeks.
Reflecting on a childhood experience, Pamela recalls asking Shirdi Sai Baba why humans are not happy, despite having basic needs fulfilled.
Psenophis and Sonkhis (Sonchis): Egyptian priests from Heliopolis and Sais, who told Solon about Atlantis (per Plutarch).

According to Plato, the Atlantis story had its origins in the Egyptian city of Sais, in the Nile Delta.
Sais was later called the City of Hagar.
Multiple Floods: Randolph acknowledges multiple flood events, including the well-known Noah's Flood and a prior, mysterious flood referenced in early Chinese annals and conversations between the Priests of Sais and Solon.
I allude to the “Mysterious Event” so dimly alluded to in early Chinese annals; and, perhaps, may be the same terrible catastrophe alluded to by the Priests of Sais, in their conversations with Solon, something like six centuries before the Christian Era.
The description of that land given to Solon by Sonchis, priest at Sais; its destruction by earthquakes, and submergence, recorded by Plato in his Timaeus, have been told and retold so many times that it is useless to encumber these pages with a repetition of it.
Sonchis at Sais, earthquakes, and submergence sit on the same trail as Timaeus.
