When our people first arrived, they found the Pueblo people and another group called the cliff dwellers.
The cliff dwellers are significant in our history because they became part of us.
The cliff dwellers eventually became the Navajo and had clans of their own.
The Pueblo and cliff dweller people predate the Anasazi, but today, any cliff dwelling or Pueblo structure is often mistakenly labeled as Anasazi.
