When Atlantis had completed its whole cycle and the time of its final destruction came, the wise teachers of Atlantis took their followers by ship and then overland to new locations all around the world. Om is the One.
Mani is the mind, or more precisely “consciousness.”
Padme is the creative flowering (literally, “the lotus.”)
Hum is the essence (literally, the “perfume.”)And when you put all these elements together, the true meaning of this mantra emerges:
Atlantis and the New Consciousness
From the One arises consciousness. From consciousness arises the creative flowering. From the creative flowering arises the essence, which returns again to the One.
