Micah escaped with several of his Essene brothers
There was also Micah, who had spent his early years in the Temple complex at Jerusalem. He was one who knew the Mosaic Law forward and backward, as the different sects of Jewry understood it.
He was also well versed in a portion of the original records that dated back to Moses and Akhenaten, which were secreted away in the vaults below the Temple of Solomon, where a remnant of the Brother–Sisterhood remained as its secret custodians.
He observed and bore witness to the truth within the higher law whenever the opportunity arose to share his wisdom. He was grateful to be free from the intrigue and turmoil of Jerusalem in exchange for the simple, carefree life upon Mount Carmel.

Micah 5:2
Micah 5:2 is interpreted as a prophecy that Bethlehem, a small village just south of Jerusalem, would be the birthplace of the Messiah.
