Karl Georg Zschaetzsch (1870 to 1946) was a German author. He was born in Crossen an der Oder and died in Berlin. He belonged to Ariosophy, an occult movement that mixed esoteric ideas with the belief in a superior Aryan race.
His book Atlantis, die Urheimat der Arier (“Atlantis, the original homeland of the Aryans”) appeared in 1922. It placed Atlantis near the Azores and claimed it as the homeland of the Aryans. It was a short version of his 1920 main work, and both books became bestsellers in Germany between the wars.
German Wikipedia calls him a Nazi racial ideologue.
This site carries a translation of the book as a historical document of that ideology, not as an endorsed view.
