D. Bridgman-Metchim was a British author and poet. A collection called Wild West Poems was published in 1892 under the name B. Metchim.
The novel Atlantis: The Book of the Angels came out in London in 1900, published by Swan Sonnenschein. It carries the author’s own illustrations. The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction describes it as a flamboyant fantasy.
In the novel, Atlantis faces prehistoric monsters, angels and moral decline, and finally sinks. It is fiction, not a claimed record of history. The HathiTrust digital library lists a copy of the 1900 edition.
On this site the book is Atlantis: The Book of the Angels, and the post is The Book of the Angels. I could not find a biography beyond these listings.
