Linda Moulton Howe on an Egyptian past life

This is Linda Moulton Howe’s own account on Portal to Ascension, not a documented history of Egypt. She starts from a childhood urge to see the end of infinity. She describes a life as an Egyptian priestess whose task was to tell men that civilizations from off the Earth helped begin Mesopotamia. In the memory she stands on a limestone podium in a hooded cloak, reading a colored papyrus she believes is full of lies, with silent men seated below. She says she spoke the truth anyway, knowing a mistake meant death. A man then took her by boat to an island, where she felt peace, and a bitten fruit was the poison that killed her. Above the body, a voice asked what she had learned. Her answer was that the death was the victory. She links her refusal to drop hard subjects to that priestess. She also says a soul may study across many bodies, that this universe may be a hologram cast from another, and that she feels she came from the projecting side.

Key points

  • Howe presents the Egyptian scenes as her memory, linked to questions she has chased since 1979.
  • The priestess’s assignment, as she tells it, was to say that off-world civilizations helped begin Mesopotamia.
  • She remembers reading a papyrus she knew was false, then speaking the truth to rows of men at the risk of death.
  • Exile by boat, peace on an island, and a poisoned fruit are how that life ends in her recall.
  • A voice over the body told her the death was the victory she should carry into this life.
  • She adds that souls may train for ages and that this universe may be projected from another.
