Library of the Untold reads Gnostic lore as personal symbol. Gnosis here first means knowledge won by practice rather than classroom words. It then points to extra gospels, including the Apocryphon of John, said to have surfaced long after the biblical set was closed. Abraxas is the mascot: a shield against ignorance, recast here as a shield against temptation, plus a rooster head for waking sleepers. Symbols, he says, are not dictionary items. Mary Magdalene is his case of someone who sees the body as temporary and not finally real, and Jesus is shown favoring her understanding, with a parable of blindness and sight that look alike until light arrives. The channel then maps its own glossary: the monad as original awareness, fullness as a unified field, Sophia as imagination, the maker as particles, and Yaldabaoth as ego. In the Apocryphon, an androgynous source produces mind in silence, and Sophia’s lion-faced child, made without her partner, steals power and becomes the first ruler. When her light fails she wanders, against a simpler line about waters in Moses.
