The Occult Sciences in Atlantis

Lewis Spence published The Occult Sciences in Atlantis with Rider & Co. at 47 Princes Gate, London. The title page of the copy I read prints no year. The book was printed at the Anchor Press, Tiptree, Essex, under the Book Production War Economy Standard. He puts the final disappearance at about 9400 B.C. on one page, and the catastrophe at about 9600 B.C. in the alchemy chapter. The occult arts, in a primitive form, began in Atlantis and passed outward with the survivors.

The book is a research argument. It is not a novel and not a channelled text. He sets it beside The Problem of Atlantis and The History of Atlantis, which should be read as separate sets of figures.

Read my chapter-by-chapter review of the book.
