Zecharia Sitchin spends this lecture on Jerusalem, then on the Sumerian tablets he treats as a record of how Earth was settled. He moves through the Temple Mount, a spring once outside the walls, and David’s purchase of the ground. Solomon’s Temple, he says, was a three part building whose innermost room was the holy of holies, and later worshippers returned to that rock with churches and mosques. The masonry is part of his case. Blocks grow more enormous in the lower and older courses, and they were cut, lifted, and set in place, work beyond a pair of laborers. He then turns to the tablets. Vast numbers of inscribed pieces survive, and one important record is not flat. As he reads them, a wandering planet joined the solar system, the flood forced a new layout of holy places, and four sites linked Earth to the Anunnaki. He offers that chain as his reading, not as a closed case.
Key points
- He treats the Temple Mount as a place people rebuilt again and again, starting from Solomon’s Temple.
- In the story he tells, David paid six hundred gold shekels to secure lasting rights to the ground.
- The lower and older stone courses are the most massive, and they were shaped to fit their places.
- He says the Sumerians left a huge inscribed record, including one tablet that is not flat.
- After the flood, on his reading, the old map of holy sites could not simply be reused.
- Four places, he claims, linked Earth with the Anunnaki and the world they came from.
