In Greene’s account, each person is unique through their DNA and life experiences, and that uniqueness is like a seed planted at birth that has to be cultivated. He advises looking for small, specific moments from childhood that reveal natural inclinations, and he draws on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences to help sort them.
