In 1903 W. P. Phelon, M.D., published Our Story of Atlantis with the Hermetic Book Concern in San Francisco. He says the manuscript had been almost ready for six years, and that he writes from another’s experience for the Hermetic Brotherhood. The body is a voyage out of New York on 15 June 1872, a stone casket taken from a tower in the West Indian Archipelago, and a record he attributes to Tlana, scribe of the Mighty Three, about 29,000 B.C.
The book is a claimed memory, not a survey of ruins he measured himself. The opening chapters also paste newspaper and magazine accounts of Xochicalo, hidden Mexican cities, Daniel Wilson, and Plato.
