In 1972 Andrew Tomas published Atlantis: From Legend to Discovery with Robert Hale in London. The copy I used is the Sphere reprint of September 1973. He keeps Plato’s Atlantic island, west of Gibraltar, and he dates the sinking to 9560 B.C. Santorini, in his arithmetic, is too small and too late. The same chapter stacks Egyptian, Assyrian, Brahmin, Maya, and Aztec cycles, and a later chapter dates drowned caves and a building off Andros to the same age.
The book is a survey of texts, dates, and field reports. Copyright is Editions Robert Laffont, 1972. The quotations in the review are short excerpts for review and study.
