In 1655 Isaac La Peyrère published Praeadamitae, a short Latin study of Romans 5:12 to 14. The title page gives no place and no printer, only “in the year of salvation 1655”. The same volume carries his Systema theologicum, “a theological system on the hypothesis of the Pre-Adamites”.
The book is a work of theology and Bible reading. It is not a channelled text and not a novel. It was condemned and burned in Paris.
