Galactic Traveler presents this talk as a channeling. Matías de Stefano delivers a voice he frames as a Scottish alchemist, and the persona jokes that he is not a man from Liverpool and not the angel listeners may have wanted. The history worth leaving is not a timeline behind you. It is the hard self you believe you are, and only a flowing life can wear that stone down until something precious shows. A change he places about twenty years out, around 2040, is an alignment, not a private leap out of the world. He also lowers the drama. Nothing grand occurs in that span, only a turn of sides after many missed chances. People fail when they think they jump alone. The planet is one being, a person is a cell, and the personality cannot abandon the body. Visitors from the sky will not carry anyone off, and no one is truly alive until the whole world can rise. The work is to take in what he calls codes, let feeling be washed, and stop waiting for a rescuer.
