Manly Palmer Hall, a Canadian-born author and mystic, is renowned for his extensive work in religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult. He is most famous for his magnum opus, “The Secret Teachings of All Ages,” published at 27, which delves into Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic, and Rosicrucian philosophy.
In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, aiming to integrate philosophy, religion, and science for solving human problems. The PRS, free from educational, political, or ecclesiastical control, houses a unique library with rare materials.
Despite never being initiated into the physical craft, Hall was honored as a 33º Mason in 1973. Over his 70-year career, Hall delivered around 8,000 lectures globally, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote numerous magazine articles.
